2	Divorce in CT Don’t agree to lifetime alimony and the half duration of marriage guideline is not set in stone. I had a similar situation in CT, same ages and kid situation as you. My ex also didn’t work outside home for 15+ yrs. I am paying 40% total support and we split the home equity. 70% of your income is ridiculous.
