YES! IMHO we should have that right! I'd go a step further: Hold parents accountable for decisions they made for their child (like say circumcision! You forget: English is also a foreign language for me (I am German) so I do pre-structure the sentence and while I can construct sentences pretty well, I am nowhere near as flexible when re-structuring a sentence as I would be in German (and it's not a lack of practise - it's just the fact that I didn't grow up with that language, I (only) learned it at school and I'll never be as good as a native speaker!)
