Also a lot of the programs urge people to “talk to your family” even though 80 percent of people who have attempted suicide were abused as children

As a female suicide victim I feel that I did get treated with more compassion for being a woman tbh.

This would cause issues because then things like skin grafts for burn victims would be banned too. Just ban any genital surgery that isn’t medically necessary for everyone under 18.

Women usually want sex just as much as men, but we are at higher risk of STDs and obviously higher risk of pregnancy and also we are socialized to worry about getting raped or assaulted if we go to a man’s house so we tend to be choosy.

When it enters her body it becomes her choice. Keep it out of her body then.

No no what I mean is that men wouldn’t think “oh shit that woman can physically knock me out if I talk back” though now that I think about it she could have a gun etc

Globally it’s around 1 million per year, about 1% of deaths. Around 5% or 300 million people have attempted suicide.

I’m a female suicide victim and I agree with this, we have a support system and we are allowed to be “weak”

You can be charged with rape if you promise marriage and then break up after sex

I think a man getting harassed may not feel as fearful because they have more physical strength but they probably would feel objectified and uncomfortable just like a woman.

It’s okay. I believe in equal rights for women but some of these groups really prey on mentally ill people. At my community college they had their flyers in the counseling center.

I am studying to be a teacher and I think boys get more pressure to do reckless things like skip school, do drugs etc which can harm performance. With some of my first grade tutoring students I saw them calling each other wussy, wimp etc because one of them refused to ride a bike without a helmet.

With me what happened is that I was raped at least once and sexually abused repeatedly from 2002-2005. Then in 2013 I remembered it, I was in seventh grade at the time and I was mocked and victim blamed by my parents and the authorities. I went on the internet looking for support resources and it was all radical feminist groups. I was basically being told that all women get raped and it’s a normal part of life. When I was 18/19 I was having severe anxiety attacks because I was planning to start …

National Crime Victimization Survey is a thing and it shows that for all violent crime except rape, men are victimized more

People generally believed in “separate spheres” meaning women had authority in the home and men had authority in other spaces

There was a post on r/suicidewatch from a Saudi man who was in severe distress because he had to pay all the bills and it was ILLEGAL for him to ask his wife to help with expenses, even though she was okay with it and he was psychiatrically disabled. Extremely patriarchal societies really do harm both genders in different ways, even though I do feel that women are harmed more regarding domestic violence. In non-abusive households both get harmed equally imo.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
