I am still reeling from the flashback I just had of my past pickme self as I read your description of this woman and her lvm, omg. Thank you for writing this!

I understand how you are feeling, I have been there, but I'm at a different part of my journey now. I've been single & not dating at all for about 2 years and so far I haven't felt the need to be in a relationship. Even when I go through my extremely horny phases, which is quite often. I think it's because I gave dating my best shot - I dated many different TYPES of guys - looks, personality, ethnicity, race, temperament, professions, family history, and I tried so hard to make it work, that I f…

I get lost in movies & television. That's what I do when I feel lonely. Also, writing & reading books helps too with getting lost. Or going down rabbit holes on social media, youtube, etc. Also, a good workout will tire you out, so you don't have the energy to feel lonely lol. But mainly, just keeping your relationships with family and friends close is good. I'm always looking up cool places I could go with my friends or looking up cocktail recipes for the next get-together.

You did the right thing and were rewarded for it because you dodged a bullet. If he has the audacity to insult a complete stranger, imagine how he is to the women he actually knows/dates.

This episode was SO good. I felt emotional because it was very powerful. Also, the chemistry between the four of them was great! Dr. Gail is right - that FDS is helping women feel sane and heard.

One of the hardest dating lessons I learned was that men date women they..don't..even..like.. Once you learn that, it can't be unlearned, all their behavior makes sense. They are too much of cowards to break up with girls they don't even like. The forever-girlfriends I know sound brainwashed by their guy anytime they say "oh it's LIKE we're married, we're BASICALLY married, just not on paper, it's just a piece of paper" but then the minute the guy proposes after 9 years they are OVER the moon an…

I listen to a podcast and the producer is homeless. At one point he was using his girlfriend's apartment for showers and temporary shelter. He moved in when the pandemic started as an excuse for essentially leeching off of her. And he would talk about her so passively and unenthusiastically. The host once asked him "so are you still together with..." and he's like "well...um yeah I guess. I mean...she DID take me to the hospital when I had a stroke, so..."

Would you be okay if the guy you were seeing/married to went on trips alone with a "like-a-sister"?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy08/06/21 06:37 AM

No "like-a-sister"s, no exes-turned-"best-friends" scenario, nope nope nope, not for me.

Well said. To add on, even if he is not homeless, a woman is under no obligation to help put a man through school, or through the startup of his new business, or through starting his new budding professional career that won't have a livable wage for many many years. I don't know who told women they have to do that, but if he is not established in his career, you don't have to hop on the struggle bus expecting it to bear fruit "in the end." I went on a couple dates with a 28 year old man that had…

Why are women shocked/surprised when the man proposes? Shouldn't they have discussed this in detail before? Like go look for rings together and stuff. It's strange that a proposal would be surprising..no? Maybe I'm just looking into it too much lolll

Women will say "oh we've been dating 8 years, I don't care about marriage, it doesn't matter, just a piece of paper" then proceed to do all the tasks mentioned in the chart above... -sigh-

the few women who actually are attracted to you. omg 😂 But seriously though, this has also been my experience too. And I've been attracted to short guys (especially the ones that compensate with great personal style) but it's true, they have such a bitter chip on their shoulder.

I'm at 1.5 years celibate with a very high sex drive, and I wish it wasn't difficult for me. I go through moments where I am PARCHED. All of a sudden, men start looking very attractive and smelling really good. Their white t-shirt/gray sweatpant combo suddenly looks appealing. Their shoulders are broader than I remember, their hairstyle looks more flattering than I recall. But then I remember that I would actually have to go date them and makes me realize that I'm fine where I am.

This woman is posting this vile story of her vile disgusting low life husband knowing damn well what she needs to do - leave, and something tells me in two years we'll see another screenshot post from her describing another story about her deranged husband. I hope she can see the light and leave, but it looks like from the "bUt I lOvE hIm" language, she wants people to tell her everything is alright. -sigh-

You can set up double verification for the BoA or Chase apps. You can choose to not save your password and not use face recognition to open up and access your account on the apps.... If he's soooooooo concerned about his $1.33 bank account balance, then he could just not save his password to the app on his phone.

I love this tiktok trend. It's nice to see guys really trying and serving looks that are flattering and unique to them. Now as opposed to that, I just went to a work event where the director and manager of a big four firm were in backwards baseball caps, ratty (uncoordinated) band t-shirts, and black crew socks with vans...like EXCUSE ME SIRS, YOU ARE BOTH 45 YEARS OLD!

Yeah I noticed men's taste is trash when I see their hateful comments on a beautiful plus size or mid size model's post. I'm like are you BLIND? She's gorgeous, her body is so sensual. Have they never seen a historical painting before where the subjects would have a body like hers? Skinny women are also of course beautiful, but men failing to see the beauty in a voluptuous woman's body is baffling to me.

Condoms protect from HPV about 70% of the time. Also, 95% of the time, HPV goes away after two years with no symptoms/irregularities and you test negative. Gardasil 9 (protects against 9 strains) can be used for people up to 42. Also, a lot of gynos don't even test women for HPV up until 30 unless they have abnormality showing in their cervix. And even then, most of the time, the abnormality is reversed. And if it gets to the part of cervical cancer treatment has a very high rate of success/emis…

Exactly, and the concept of virginity itself is so subjective. Some may consider oral as no longer being a virgin, some may see that it "doesn't count." Some may consider giving hand jobs, fingering, and grinding naked as losing your virginity, some may not.

More women are not getting married but they are cohabiting & having children with their "boyfriends" for 8+ years for some reason, saying "I don't care about marriage, but I have given my entire life, body, womb, and house to this man for over a decade." Which situation is better?

I think it's fine, just make sure to mentally separate the fantasy from real life men. I also fantasize a lot. I find the enemies-to-lovers trope in books very sexy (not so much movies/shows because I feel they never do it right lol). FDS shocks us back to reality & dries up our sex drive at times, and that's for our protection & benefit as women, of course, but I think it's okay to indulge in our erotic fantasies as long as we can compartmentalize them. Also, fantasizing helps me not want to da…

I've usually been the one to initiate first, and it always ended up being a "he's just not that into you" dating situation. Never again! Men date women they're not interested in, simply because she's putting in the work - they just coast through the process. Never again.

I'm in the same boat, conservative Middle Eastern family. I always felt like finding a man & seeking marriage & children was more based on the societal pressure & the guilt than what I actually wanted. And it's interesting because my mom, who was actually older than her cousins & friends when she got married - (25, gasp!) and got a professional degree unlike all the stay at home moms in my family, she always told me that marriage isn't important, that getting degrees & career is important. Also, for some reason they think giving 15 YEARS of your life, your finite time on this earth, your womb, your house to a man is LESS of a commitment than marriage...I just don't understand. They say "what's the rush?" or "it's nobodies business" or "when it's the right time" or "we need to save up for 10 years for a wedding" or "we're basically married anyway, why get married?" Someone please explain this to me, why do they think like this?

I'm friends with men only in the context of a men & women friend GROUP, where we all hang out together in a group and have a group chat. I've never hung out with a male friend alone one-on-one, that would be strange for me. I don't even text or call male friends one-on-one. It's always in the context of the friend group. Healthiest boundaries for me personally.

I also get very horny when I'm ovulating, I discovered this a couple years ago when I was using a menstruation tracking app. I masturbate to fight off the urges with my hands over my pants - it's strange that I can make myself finish by rubbing over my clothes but a man hasn't been able to during intercourse... I also write erotic stories for myself and read them back a bunch of times. I know we have to be pragmatic about our urges, but I get very horny sober. For me, it's not triggered by alcoh…

Can FDS please explain to me where these women learn the phrase "if you're not comfortable with your man having a female best friend, you are just insecure" or "you're not mature." Where did this line of thinking even originate? It doesn't even make any sense...what does insecurity & maturity have to do with your significant other spending an inordinate amount of private time with another woman? And even a woman he has dated and slept with? Have men brainwashed women into thinking this is okay? …

Especially if you are in your late 20s & 30s, I would say its a big red flag. This woman I worked with got into a relationship with a man at 29 and he didn't propose until she was 34. Apparently when she showed her father the ring he said "wow, I never thought it would happen!" that's just sad...

There was an insta reel/tiktok about when the guy tells you not worry about "his friend Jessica" and I was so disappointed to see in the comments women being like "wOmEn wHo HaVe a PrObLeM wItH tHiS aRe JuSt iNsEcUrE." Um, if you are serious with a guy and he is both talking to and seeing a women privately one-on-one multiple times a week, that's crossing a boundary and if the man can't understand that boundary, she has to leave the relationship.

I think we tow a fine line between trying not to victim blame her for not waiting long enough and trying to help women understand that gatekeeping, vetting, and waiting longer for sex is for OUR self interest. I think the key is not to shame/guilt her for what she DID in this situation, but to give her advice on what to do in the FUTURE. I had a question for FDS, what do I do if I have a very high libido? I haven't dated in over a year, been totally man-free, date-free, sex-free for over a year.…

To the defenders of sex work - it is primarily used for the function of making men ejaculate. How can the shred of "positives" that come out of sex work be WORTH the abuse, the objectification, the rape, the trafficking, and murder of women of the majority of the cases? How can ALLLLL of that be worth it for the one male physiological function of male ejaculation? It's just sad that an entire dangerous institution exists and persists for that one male physiological function.
