So no divorce proceedings then? And how exactly do you expect the woman to go about “proving” she was abused if it was financial and mental? No restraining orders allowed for the children until the end of the divorce

It is highly doubtful that is why he wanted them. I would guess he was being abusive and using these images to control her during her marriage, and now that they’re divorcing he’s holding onto any control over her he can get. In all likelihood this was an abusive marriage because why else would somebody insist on keeping nude photos of somebody else
