anon means husband won't know. async comms means she can shot a message when she has a minute. with 6 kids, likely stay at home and doesn't get out much. Reddit may be the only outlet she gets. plenty child related subreddits out there with people posting and commenting how busy they are with kids... but they are still posting and commenting.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 02:57 PM

> they tell me how happy they are as a submissive women at home with 6 kids and how I need to appreciate men do you think no such woman exists in the world?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 01:36 PM

That's neither here nor there, I've had my profile verified on reddit before lol. Seriously though I'm not even talking hypotheticals at all. I know women IRL who talked like a red pill man. A mother literally giving her son advice that's red pill style on how to control women. At the same time giving her daughter advice how to counter the red pill and control men. Her allegiance isn't to "the women (or men)", it's to her family. Women can have allegiance to family, party, country, religion etc.…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 01:27 PM

> I'm still able to see when that woman is a fake, nothing to do with disagreement. you can guess with some % degree of confidence, but will never be sure. You are still basing your detection on a limited sample. Let's put in perspective just how limited that sample is: You could spend every waking hour for 80 years meeting new people every 15 minutes and still meet less <2MM. That would be 0.05% of global women population. Do you think that's enough to make a statement about what the other 99.9…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/26 12:48 PM

> sounding anything like a real women insulting women that don't fit a subjective definition of a woman. that's all this was unless there is proof. inability to imagine that there are women out there who think like men is a solipsistic limitation. this kind of mentality perpetuates gender biases like "only blue trucks for boys" and "only pink dolls for girls" and "no women in the military" etc.

im no bilogist, but i dont think genes work the way you think they do. > Women who have traits that would be undersireable in men That alone doesn't exactly mean much. E.g. studies on attractive face show that most average face is attractive. Faces that deviate from average and towards extremes are received as less attractive on average (can still be niche attractive). So if you could take a mother who has extreme features + father who has extreme features = you may end up with baby face average…

good response (: i was waiting for this response ever since that other thread. introspection + accountability. most people will defend their egos and die on that hill. truth is, i could tell you're bit different so i pushed you intentionally to see what you will do. people talk about "accountability this, accountability that", but when push comes to shove, most will fall back on defending their egos instead. you've just proved to be in a different league. sufficient for what? it's sufficient to exclude from categories of love that are "unconditional" because presence of any condition no matter how small is ... conditional. if feel like your comments and OP post are talking past each other.

> You are trying to tell me women stay in bad relationships, sure it happens... that's all i wanted to hear. because this claim: > You know there’s no way you could keep a woman if you treat her like this Is categorically false. that's all. > You are sick in the head thinking this, like it’s some type of power play Maybe, maybe not, in any case: > Even if I am it doesn’t change the validity of the argument!!! Thanks
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 08:53 PM

mere freedom alone is not enough by itself. are you familiar with Stockholm syndrome? there people living in these relationships who are quite literally free to leave. they're not chained, economically or otherwise - but they still don't. life is rarely that simple
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 08:46 PM

I understand theres are your preferences. Likewise there are countless women out here, the world over, getting treated in a way you wouldn't personally approve and yet they're not going anywhere nor planning to. That's the reality of it.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 08:43 PM

I'm sorry, but do you genuinely believe that? it's wishful thinking. People have different preferences. You may not tolerate something, but others will.

/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/25 06:51 PM

> And I don't consider posting online to be a hobby. > It's hardly an interest given the poor quality of debates and the repeating topics. in your subjective opinion sure. Different people with have different subjective opinions. all we can do is agree to disagree.

Bro you need to zoom way out. In the future entropy will erase us all, erase everything. There will be no legacy, memory or trace that anything in this universe has ever existed. There is no legacy. Entire history of humanity is (so far) and will be (in far future) an infinitesimal blip on the timeline of the cosmos. We are rational beings in an irrational, indifferent universe. A life forgotten upon conclusion, bereft of legacy. If one thinks deeply enough the concept is horrifying. Universe do…

However, some women will say they just like wearing clothes like that and don’t want attention at all which I also don’t understand because they have to know they’re going to get attention from both genders. romantic love is and should be conditional. it's an agreement between two parties to have an equitable exchange in value. if the value equation changes for any reason, the option is always there to renegotiate the terms or walk away. unconditional love exists as ideal in e.g. Buddhism and it extends to all living things, not just your spouse - that's what makes it actually unconditional. so any men who complain about unconditional love, tell them to join Buddhism if that's what they're after. if…

Do you care about being attractive for as long as possible? If not, that is your prerogative of course, but if you do - read on. Proteins are in all tissues in your body. Very important. e.g. protein called collagen is in your skin. Collagen keeps the skin tight, supple and youthful. If you don't consume enough protein you'll lose collagen faster. Aging your skin, making it saggier, looser, wrinkly. Nice hair and nails - all protein.

Like true love means best compatibility. People aren't binary though, so everyone is gonna be some arbitrary % compatible with you. The threshold of what you will accept is up to you to decide. The best match of 80%+ is super rare to find. Most people are happy enough to settle with 50%. It all depends what you want to accept.

So if good men aren't worried and Chads (regardless of character) aren't worried. Then who are worried?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/25 04:59 PM

Chads will stay on it as they always had, just less of the rest. I'm sure women will appreciate less men on dating apps, less right swipe spam. Dating apps needed a serious male depopulation for a long time, but it was hard to convince men to do it willingly. I think you're right, this could be a good thing.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/25 04:56 PM

You're more a coffee person?

/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/25 04:39 PM

hmmm define local (: NYC is not very wide, but very dense with millions of women. So would the app only work for a few blocks of NY? or whole city?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/25 04:32 PM

The Tea App is gonna do so much damage to the dating market its hilarious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYg5Eg3TMCE First good men were scared away from approaching. Now good men will be scared away from dating apps entirely. All that will remain will be the f***boy Chads who don't care, since they have the pretty face and halo effect to absorb the reputational hits anyway.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/25 04:30 PM

talk and share Among themselves, locally, not put on an app where millions of other women will see who the guy has never met. doing something so bad they get put on blast. Most people just breakup. Right everybody is always brimming with positivity post break. There's never any hard feelings at all right? You're making assumption that people are reasonable. Some people are not and need therapy. There's women out there threatening suicide if BF breaks up. He's done nothing wrong, just wants a bre…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/25 04:15 PM

you didn’t know that all this was going on BEFORE they simply made an app that put I all on one platform? It's funny, but you're defeating your own argument here. If he did not know it's going on - that means loads of other people didnt - means it wasn't wide spread - means impact is minimal. Means it wasn't a problem. Dox in the past was 1% exposure. So it doesn't matter - 99% of people don't see it. Now that's all put into one doxxing app, the exposure is 99%. That's why it matters.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/25 04:06 PM

Neither is acceptable of course, but scale is the main difference. Tea app is way larger scale. So it's a lot worse.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/08/25 03:58 PM

How do you know that many young women dating older men? It's pretty damn rare outside of celebrities. Sorry I meant I know one such big age gap personally and I quizzed her. "What about power dynamic? money etc?". They have no power over her. They have more money, she doesn't care. She can walk out any time (and provably so as, dated multiple such men). Ironically from the interactions, she's still the more mature one sometimes haha. It doesn't matter how mature they are. A 20 year old does not …

More mature than women in 30s, 40s. Perhaps that is the difference. Did it ever occur to you that not everyone is a clueless child? It's not that marriages are secret, the marriages don't happen at all because the relationships are secret. That's what OP said. Of course the marriage rates are low, because why would men want to publicize a relationship that is extremely taboo in society So you can't gauge the frequency of age gap relationships solely off of marriage stats (or any stats).

rich celebrity men are yet to actually grow up emotionally Yes so you're saying a celeb in his 40s isn't mature enough to date someone in their 40s - great, so they date someone in their 20s - which match their maturity level. So... what's the problem? They're maturity matches. It's a perfect match.

Ok I see why you disagree with the title of the post and I agree it's poorly worded, but I know what he means. His main argument is that "given that large age gap relationships are stigmatised / taboo, we must doubt the official statistic that state they are rare, given that they are incentivised to hide such relationships" Thus we can't take official stats on this at face value. It's same phenomenon regarding stats around LGBTQ+. Over last 12 years the rate of people identifying as such has bee…

Something being replaceable means that you have an easy time replacing it. Who has a FAR easier time replacing a partner, men or women? You're making a semantic argument that replaceable == easy. let's consult the dictionary. <image> So no, replaceable does not mean easy to replace. Nobody is making that claim here either. Yeah Buddhism was just a gateway stepping stepping stone to what it's built on top of - negative utilitarianism - thats the main thing. Meanwhile, as per Absurdism, we're rational beings in irrational universe. There is no meaning, nor there needs to be one. Nothing we do actually matters, so we are instead free to do w.e. we want. Unless you believe in God or something, in which case good for you, that's your choice. That's a different topic altogether though.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/25 01:26 PM
7

Secular Buddhism is fantastic philosophy. If more people adopted it, we'd have less problems. It's largely about negative utilitarianism, i.e. minimising suffering, instead of maximising pleasure (like hedonism).

I feel like we're talking past each other. Just because men will literally fuck anything doesn't mean it suddenly gives them the ability to fuck anything. Of course. Not arguing against that. But men finding more women attractive means women are more replaceable. Women don't find most men attractive so harder to replace. It's pretty basic logic. That's it. That's the only point I and the OP are making really. Not saying anything about dating market, inflated standards, loneliness epidemic etc. T…

Risks are still less because women don't find most men attractive, yet men find most women attractive. It's really funny because the same mechanism that makes women hard to get (women being selective) is also the same mechanism that makes women easier to keep. Men should really be more thankful! If a woman finds 1/100 guys attractive and you happen to be that 1, then you know the other 99 who approach will get rejected and your woman will be faithful. The reverse, unfortunately, is not gonna be …

agree with the first, not with the second. If this man were a single man it would not be a valid concern. If he had anything that was desirable to women he would have a woman. Chad can outwardly appear single yet still have rotation of women. So you can't simply judge someone's level of options based on if they are already partnered or not.

How? OPs points seem decent. Make a female dating profile and see how wrong this post is. meaning what? that a woman is gonna have a flood of likes / matches? that's exactly OPs point. women are easy to replace as most men just want sex so "any woman will do" mentality is exactly why they swipe right too much and women have too many likes. On the other hand "most men won't do" is why more women are becoming single, because there are fewer good men (that want more than just sex), hence if you loo…

I don't think it's strictly easier. The advantages is as you outlined - discoverability. This is double edged sword though as now with max visibility, you also have max competition. The other downside is distance and the bigger the niche the worse this becomes (more likely to be dispersed globally). Most women, not all women. An incel isn't trying to date most women, he just needs to find one and that one can come from the group who doesn't have a prejudice against sex work. So there is no problem here. I know you think you're trying to help, but your not helping. Your advice boils down to "do things that appeal to most women, regardless of your own values". The person you are paying to have sex with you doesn’t actually want to have sex with you. They want money. /r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 11:39 PM

So you've never actually ordered anything? Never had random delivery guy show up at your door? I dunno why people think their address is some big secret. If you're a homeowner and somebody knows your name (or gets it from social media) they can look up your address from publicly available land/folio registry.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/25 05:21 PM

Ok if we wanna be pedantic. He valued a "woman". He didn't say "loving woman" or "family". He valued "money", he didn't say legacy. Money was means to an end, to get power, which then gets him woman. Steps 1,2,3 in succession. Did Tony really strike you as a blue piller who just wanted a white picket fence with kids running around and a trad wife and quiet life?? Dude was addicted to winning. To power. Woman was a trophy wife to him. Just a sign that he "made it".

matters far more in what way? Money, power still rules. How you think Trump got Melania? he's not physically attractive. So what's your point? That consumption is bad / worse than production? You can not have production without consumption. It's two sides of the same coin. It makes no sense to say to say one is better than the other, when both will perish without the other. Consumers decide what is worth producing and support production via consumption. Producing something, consumed by no one, does not add any value to society. It's a waste of resources.

Who made you the arbiter of what is meaningful contribution to society? That surfer guy is at minimum supporting dozzens of local business, buying & maintaining boards, eating food, taxis, renting hotels. Tourism. Nightclubs in the evenings. He doesn't exist in a vacuum. Others are benefiting from his activity and make money. That money goes to peoples pockets and gov. coffers via taxes, which then circle back into society. Those are not meaningful contributions? Difference of opinion i guess.

Hedonism is how you're living right now though. Unless you're willing to adopt children, there's no moral justification to producing your own other than feeding your ego - that's hedonism. True anit-hedonism, is negative utilitarianism, e.g. being ascetic Buddhist monk who pursues no relationships, produces no life. I've no problem you doing w.e. you want, just don't think you're being any different to that other guy doing outdoor activities etc.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/07/25 09:57 PM
1

So why are you in relationship? That's hedonism. Sex, drinking, smoking. Hedonism. Do you eat delicious food or just plain bread and water? I'll see you all ascetic at a Buddhist temple soon ya (: ? Hypocrisy on the other hand, is actually unpleasant yes.

No joke, I was literally mulling over about building something like that. It's such an unsolved problem and the irony is that the internet - of all places - should be the solution for the introverts and homebodies! Tinder is failing epically in that regard. What you're describing is the initial phase of romantic attachment. It's chemical love. Look up neurotransmitters, oxytocin, serotonin and others. This reward system in the brain is what makes you seek out a partner and feel good when you interact with your partner. These chemicals fade over time. Could be year or a decade or longer. See, from nature's POV, it only needed these chemicals to work long enough for you to produce children. Since we invented contraception, we kinda bypassed that noti…

I live in Ireland where few years ago we voted in referendum to change the constitution to legalise abortion. So I think all rights for bodily autonomy should be protected. Women should be allowed to have abortions if they wish, it's their body. Likewise they should be allowed to sell it if they want. No one should tell them what to do with their bodies. Same for men. There's male sex workers too FYI.

It should be universal, worldwide recognition. Otherwise, if you don't agree that each state should be free to set w.e. rules (slavery and all), then why do you draw an arbitrar…

Men get confused and then think most women are gaslighting them when they say they don't care about peak physique. the theory i heard is that back in hunter gatherer days, since men would be out hunting for a long time, tracking pray for days, it would be dangerous for them to be sick out in the middle of nowhere. so any sign of illness that took them out of action ASAP, made them stay with the women to wait out the illness rather than join the men on the hunt. Put another way, those who got ill slower, did so on the hunt and never made it back.

Yes and no. Be the person you want to attract. If you're an extrovert / very social, sure, be social. That also means the women you're most likely to find are also extroverted / social. If that's not your core personality then they're not a good match for you. So you why spend all this energy being someone you're not, attracting the wrong people? 50% of population is introverted. Plenty of women are not very social either. So they are more likely to use the apps. Dating apps, in theory, are mean…

Were the matched man could be anywhere from 1-10 in sexual market value scale. And that is because of one simple fact of dating apps: population imbalance. Sorry guy, but your description doesn't seem to indicate being avg. So unless you're willing to provide face pictures (or w.e. you used for Tinder) to prove you're average, can't take your word for it. People are famously bad at judging their own physical attractiveness.

Yeah my primary interests are financial markets and sexual market is just like any other, with rational actors and laws of supply and demand. Another example that confuses men and makes them think women are gaslighting them, is when it comes to being very built and muscular. Men swear, by their own experience, that women love built and muscular guys because of attention increase they got when they became built and muscular. Most women in online poles though say they like avg. body, not super bui…

not that simple. halo effect is cognitive bias (unwillful), not a simple prejudice (willful). Cognitive biases are difficult to counter even if you know about them.

Yeah I wasn't there even, so hard to say what exactly happened, but from the way he describes it he's not sure what went wrong either. They had some good rapport going. The main thing i can think of and I hate to say it - in this sub especially - but ... he's a little bit below average in the face. Like I'm no expert at rating attractiveness, but let's say he gets obvious minus points because no strong jawline & balding. He's avg. height too so that's neither plus nor minus. He's pretty built th…

It's a skill like any other. I know a dude who was cold approaching, quite a bit, in even less competitive spaces - not clubs / pubs, but like parks or just on streets. No luck though. Like he got conversations going, some back and forth, no numbers though. So your anecdote says it works. My anecdote says it doesn't. Lesson here is YMMV.

Why is it a downside? You've argued how it's not an upside (neutral?), but didn't present an argument as to why it's a downside.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/07/25 09:14 PM

It's just curiosity, I'm not trying to find out who you are (I'm no that good). There's no way i'm gonna do that from a course! Not asking where you studied, I don't even know which country you're in. You don't even need to be any more specific than just "humanities" or "sciences" if you like.

There's far more complex things out there than dating, like medicine and engineering and we use data and statistics to tame those just fine. I don't see why dating has to be exceptional. Try bringing up statistics in real life to explain why you're not getting success, you'll rightfully get mocked as a weirdo. By anti-intellectuals maybe. I'm more interesting in engaging with people on the right side of the IQ bell curve.

<image> In the dating game, the rules are: be attractive, don't be unattractive. Being a jerk and scumbag is obviously not an attractive trait by itself, so they're doing something else to be attractive. Being timid and submissive is by itself also not inherently attractive traits for a man. So you gotta do something else be attractive. It's called a human race, for a reason. It's all competition. You wanna win? You gotta beat the competition. Don't like the game? Then quit it, but don't blame t…

You need a very masculine face to pull off long hair or just looks too feminine. we get labeled as feminine Long hair is polarising, but if pulled off, the pool will decrease, but those who like long hair are true fans. This can work to your advantage in a big way. (I don't have the actual data so using made up numbers to illustrate): Say 10% of women are into long hair. Only 1% of men have long hair. That puts a gender imbalance heavily in long haired man's favour. 10 women fighting over 1 man!…

Inconclusive. The ones who don't have friends by definition cling to no one. While having a lot of friends can just be a cope for clinginess. So you don't exhaust one person, you keep cycling them in rotation to keep feeding you attention. Clingy people can exist on both sides. I've seen examples of each. Having friends is no litmus test for clinginess.

Deficiency is subjective phenomenon that lives in your mind and you are the arbiter. You can decide tomorrow (without even trying new mattress) that the current mattress is deficient. That's why I asked to define precisely, "nothing going wrong", it's far too broad. What are we talking about here?? If the title mean to read as: CMV: It's ok to break up or divorce, even if I just change my mind about what I want or found a better partner who fulfils my existing requirements better, while my curre…

You got together for a reason in a first place, if you want to leave, something has changed. Either old reason no longer valid, or new reason emerged. Your example was an example of new reason emerging. What happened was in the past you did not have a preference for a new mattress (relationship). Then you experienced a new mattress and you created a new preference for yourself that wasn't there before. The new preference is - and can only be fulfilled by - the new mattress. "What went wrong" is …

You'd have to define "nothing going wrong". While in the abstract sure you can do that, in the real world there would be some reason why you're doing it, something went wrong. You got together for a reason in a first place, if you want to leave, something has changed. Either old reason no longer valid, or new reason emerged. "Nothing going wrong and therefore I'm making a change" seems like a falacy. No action can come spontaneously without a trigger. "Nothing going wrong" just sounds like lack …
