1	Child support Whether or not you should be financial liable for a child is a completely separate debate from whether or not you should be able to choose to or even if it's morally right to terminate a pregnancy. My point here was if the male didn't give consent and was raped shouldn't he have to pay child support. If you want to apply this logic to abortions ask if a woman was raped thus not consenting to the sex is it right or wrong for her to abort the baby? 1	Child support The only situation where a male shouldn't have to pay child support is for a child that is the outcome of the male not consenting to the sex i.e. rape. For example, the U.S has an issue where males as young as 12 years old have been the victim of statutory rape and then taken to court by their female rapist a made responsible for child support.
