It WAS difficult, for sure. My ex didn’t want the divorce. She was angry, and she did a few things in the beginning to try and hurt me. She ended up checking herself into an inpatient psych facility. I felt a lot of guilt because I felt like I “caused” her all this pain. But I didn’t do anything wrong other than prioritizing my own mental health and happiness. Thanks man. I’m dating a little bit. But if I ever do get into a serious relationship with someone, it won’t be one where ANYTHING about my lifestyle would be a “dealbreaker” that I would need to change to make that person happy. I’m just going to be unapologetically authentic, and if any “dealbreakers” come up, then BYE FELICIA!!! That’s how I got into this mess in the first place, and I’m not making that mistake again!!!
