Nonsense. She knows that she's the mother of the child with absolute certainty. She also knows that there's no way for a man to know with the same certainty that he's the father without a paternity test and, if she had any concern for this man, she would want him to have the same certainty that she does. Seriously, any woman who takes offense at the request for a paternity test has absolutely no ability to empathize with her spouse and you're better off without her.The only downside to this situ…

No, it doesn't imply anything, it clearly states the obvious fact that, unlike the child's mother, who is absolutely certain she is the mother, no man can be certain he is the father. Like a prenuptial agreement does not imply that you think the marriage is doomed to failure, the paternity test does not imply that you believe your spouse is cheating. It is simply equalizing the position of the father and mother in terms of certainty of parentage. To quote Ronald Reagan trust but verify. To quote …

If paternity tests became normalized and generally accepted it would narrow women's options for maximizing the extraction of resources from and the manipulation of men. Whether they feel they'd ever exercise them or not, women cling greedily to their options and privileges, just in case (lacking consistent, internal ethical strictures and facing no external accountability, women like to keep their options open). Believe it or not, the writer of the Reddit post whose girlfriend left him is better…

There's nothing that strikes terror into the hearts of women more than taking on responsibility and being held accountable. Our society allows women to use their emotional state as an excuse for their bad behavior. "I divorced my first husband because I just wasn't happy" and the like. Women selectively infantilize themselves. Supposedly strong and independent women become helpless little girls incapable of deciding whether or not to have sex once they've had a drink. The same strong and indepen…

@Dumwitxh @wilddog. "Stigmatization"..."perfect world"..... what is this bullshit. The subject of a paternity test is something you should have settled long before you are having a child. If you get pushback, make it perfectly clear that you will not be signing a birth certificate or providing any support whatsoever without a paternity test and if she doesn't provide consent for the test she can go to court and sue you for child support where you can have the judge issue a court order requiring …

Dude is right, it was a female supremacy movement from the start. They just weren't as overt about it as they are today (though they were pretty open about it in their writing). Take the time to read what the founders of feminism wrote in their own words. What's happening today is first wave feminism's plans coming to fruition.

The problem with this conversation, as far as I can tell, is that women seem to think they can dictate to men what they should and shouldn't desire (like telling men that a woman's age doesn't matter or that men should be attracted to fat girls. How's that working out for you, ladies?) You can argue whether or not you think it SHOULD matter but, declaring that it doesn't matter, when it obviously matters to many men, is the height of arrogance.

There's nothing a woman traditionally provided that you can't get elsewhere today. Sign up for a meal prep service, maid service and hire an occasional call girl and then get a surrogate and hire a nanny when you want to have kids. You'll save money and an immeasurable amount of hardship and heartache.

70 to 80% of divorces are filed by women. You don't find that problematic?
/r/PurplePillDebate03/09/22 03:54 AM

In the US, you still have to contend with common law marriage laws in your state. If you live in a state that recognizes common law marriage and cohabitate for a certain amount of time (it varies from state to state) and, especially if you are known to your friends and family as being married, you will be legally married in your state regardless of whether or not you have a marriage license and the usual marriage/divorce/child custody laws apply.

Damn, look at all those electronic conveniences men invented to make women's lives less burdensome and free up their time so they could aspire to something better. You're welcome. But, seriously, it takes so little for a man to live. Men are perfectly happy living a Spartan lifestyle where notions like "window treatments" and "accent pillows" never enter his mind. They're happy eating off paper plates while sitting on a bare floor in a virtually empty living room and watching TV or playing video…

Since women have already been exempt from the draft longer than they had to wait for the right to vote, that debt has been paid. In fact, considering that there was a mere 60-year period between universal male suffrage and universal female suffrage in the United States and military conscription has been a reality for well over 150 years, you could even argue that they owe us one (or two or three). If we are truly interested in balancing the scales we should only draft women in the next war.

What I don't understand is why you felt the need to make this statement here. Are there really not enough spaces where women can express their concerns about rape/violence? Your only outlet was on a men's rights sub Reddit? Okay, I lied, I know exactly why you felt the need to pull the conversation back to female victimization and I'm sure you do too. At this point, this tactic is so obvious and pathetic, I don't know why you guys keep trying it.

I have faith in boy's ability to overcome. You can't keep a good man down and you can't condition away innate strength and character. Remember, women have only ever been able to achieve when standing on layer upon layer of infrastructure built by men while men have always been strong enough to not only raise up themselves but, lift the rest of society too.

Anyone else tired feminists telling us how how "men's issues fit in under the feminist umbrella" and then telling you how little your opinion matters because, you know, "patriarchy" while they simultaneously act to thwart any effort to investigate, let alone address, men's issues? If men's issues are really that closely wedded to women's issues why don't you change the name from feminism to humanism?

In the US, our supreme Court ruled in favor of conscription during our civil war stating that our rights carried with them a reciprocal obligation to the state. In other words, our rights under the Constitution, were the payment we received for being part of the class of citizen required to defend the country, when necessary. This changed, however, when women were granted the right to vote without the reciprocal obligation to come to the country's defense in time of need.
