Not even modern. Biologically we are the protector class. Men are reproductively quite expendable because one man could repopulate a tribe on his own quite effectively. We will always be expendable, no point feeling oppressed by biology tho yk.

Not really. If you accept that most dangerous jobs are usually low paid and almost always done by men, then those men would much rather have free universal healthcare. NHS has a lot of problems but the people of the UK adore it, the psychological benefit of not having to worry about paying to be healed is astronomical
