I'm sorry to say the jig was up the moment women got in the workplace and realized how much fucking off occurs in those typical 8 to 10 hour work days. Being a provider just isn't that difficult to do and certainly no excuse for not helping around the house and paying attention to children. 100%! My mom who’s almost 60 has experienced both the lifestyles and to this day, she says that being a working woman with a 9-5 job is a lot easier than being a housewife! That’s why she always encouraged he…

Exactly. Reminded me of half sister’s father who acted like that, took everyone and everything for granted and never showed genuine interest in his wife’s or kid’s life. That was until…..my mom left with her child and never looked back. Years later he comes crawling back but my sister chose to cut contact forever. That man was living in depression ever since and passed away last year. What can I say….you reap what you sow.

Depends on what you mean by safe. Make you feel emotionally safe? Sure. A soft man who does not look like he can make you feel safe physically and protect you? No. It’s usually the latter that end up in the friend zone. We want both. A protective man who creates a safe space emotionally and physically.

Exactly! I don’t think OP knows what being a HVM really means.

Agreed. First of all, its not ALL women, and secondly, a lot of us don’t even care enough to “hate” such men. We often only hold such standards for the man we’re dating, the rest can be however they want as it doesn’t affect us anyway. Even if a male friend was acting that way, it isn’t going to affect the friendship negatively so we really wouldn’t care.

Most women I know don’t. I personally wouldn’t date such men either. When I first met my boyfriend, we were both virgins by choice. I liked that about him as much as he liked it about me. He had plenty of options but decided not to put his dick around wherever he could. I have huge respect for men like that who have standards. Having casual hookups or being sexually promiscuous has it’s own consequences. Own it.

You should. In a world where none of us judged each other, we would easily have partners. Even the fact that a person is single by choice, is because they haven’t found the right one yet based on their judgment of others. And to judge someone based on their sexual history, or past is never wrong. Your past is an extension of who you are anyway. If you do agree that being sexually promiscuous has consequences, then it is definitely something you should think about before dating someone.

I can’t believe you’re comparing children with adult women. So all the 18+ years of experience in life goes down the drain when you’re a woman, and you’re still equated to a child whereas men are considered “experienced” and a “leader” for being an adult. Sure 💀

There are plenty of interactions where you adhere to those with greater experience, knowledge and leadership. Sure. But that’s like assuming your partner is less knowledgeable and experienced than you in all cases which is very very unlikely. Besides that, if you compare your romantic relationship with the kind you have with a boss, that’s like assuming you’re always right and she’s always wrong. Even when your boss is wrong, you don’t tell him he’s wrong right? But there are surely instances wh…

I second this
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 10:18 AM

You are an extension of your past. Let’s not pretend it doesn’t affect the present at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 08:06 AM

Girl, both men and women CAN judge each other based on their consensual sexual pasts. We all have our own preferences. Let’s not pretend that being sexually promiscuous has no consequence at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 08:01 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 07:59 AM

Girl some men just simply don’t like dating promiscuous women just like a lot of us women wouldn’t like dating promiscuous men! Period. Stop questioning that and jumping into weird conclusions.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 07:54 AM

Internalised misogyny
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 07:52 AM

I agree. This is exactly how it is for women as well. No one wants a promiscuous man for the same reasons.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 07:48 AM

First of all, both genders face consequences from being promiscuous. Seeing the comments, let’s not pretend that it only affects women. I know women who save themselves for marriage often also want men who do the same. Heck, for me it was so important that my partner had similar sexual experience as I had. When I first met my boyfriend, we were both virgins by choice and I liked that about him as much as he liked it about me. He had and still has plenty of choices and so do I. We just don’t fit …

Exactly! 100% agree. I know women who save themselves for marriage often also want men who do the same. Heck, for me it was so important that the partner I was with had similar sexual experience as me! When I first met my boyfriend, we were both virgins by choice and I liked that about him as much as he liked it about me. He had and still has plenty of choices and so do I. We just don’t fit into that type. When it comes to sexual promiscuity, both genders face consequences! Let’s not pretend it …
/r/PurplePillDebate19/06/23 07:38 AM

Are we gonna pretend like we don’t know what the difference is? Men who ask for women who cook and clean are usually expecting the woman to take the full responsibility of household work even when they work outside home just like these men. Whereas women who ask for men who cook and clean are usually expecting to have a partner that shares the household work with them instead of sitting and relaxing while expecting his wife to baby him.

If by traditional motivations and “rewards”, you mean the opportunity to abuse, cheat, marital rape , withhold financing and many other things that come with having power over your spouse, then fortunately no :)

If that’s the case, absolute freedom of choice is not a good thing for BOTH genders. I’m all about equality. It’s not like men are more responsible with the freedom of choice they get haha. We could all see that around us

You’re right and men don’t see marriage as a “duty bound honor anymore” either. Gone are the times where men actually held onto strong morals and valued their wives, children and families. You don’t see men like that anymore, so it’s very common for women to just give up on the idea of having a good marriage at all considering how such men are extremely rare.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/06/23 11:14 AM

Exactly. In fact, times were much tougher back then. Most middle aged women I’ve spoken to who has gotten the taste of both worlds would 100% prefer this generation due to feminism.

It gave women choices. I find that fine really? Just “fine”…? Ok.

That itself is fantastic! I don’t think men could survive without the freedom of choice. If the roles were reversed, surely there was going to be a movement against it.

The kind of “fat & curvy” bodies you are talking about are mostly just BBL + Botox filled bodies that the media keeps normalising. Naturally, most women who are chubby or obese have layers of fat that distorts their female form to the point where none of those “curves” are visible. Surgeries can give you the look you’re talking about by carefully removing fat from specific areas or accentuating areas to give the “curvy” look.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 06:32 AM

Not true. Even when a woman is skinny or underweight, her female form only becomes more defined, just with bones (collar, hip) slightly protruding. Contrary to that, what happens when you’re chubby or obese is that all the extra layers of fat really distorts the whole look. This is how it is for natural bodies. BBL and Botox filled bodies are a whole different thing.

Exactly my question. This is something OP should think about
/r/PurplePillDebate29/05/23 05:27 PM

Right. Just because you can’t stand the truth and decide to say random things like a child doesn’t make it true. Go read books and refer studies. not the flex you think it is. No one ever called it a flex. Sounds like you’re badly projecting….
/r/PurplePillDebate16/05/23 10:56 PM

Never seen or been in a relationship like that too. Tired of seeing posts like these of men with victim mentalities subtly implying that women are selfish vile creatures that would absolutely despise a man as soon as they show emotion. Sure.... In all actuality, these men are projecting. Some of them are terribly afraid of showing their emotions as being "emotional" is often not considered masculine by other MEN and constantly live life seeking male validation while blaming it all on women.

Multiple studies show that single women with no spouse or children are a lot happier than single men with no spouse or children. Please look it up.

Multiple studies show that single women with no spouse or children are a lot happier than single men with no spouse or children. This is very upsetting for a lot of men to hear and hence they’d rather spend all their energy trying to prove it’s wrong and push it off as “a trend” when it is the harsh truth.

Oh please! It’s time for men to stand up for other men the same way women did all these years! If there’s there anyone that despise men for crying or showing emotions the most, they’re MEN themselves! You are exactly the root of the problem. You want change? You should start it within yourselves instead of blaming your issues on women. Most women I know despise emotionally unavailable men but when it comes to misogynistic POS like Jordan P, he gets trolled….by more men than women.

teen love is superficial af I beg to differ. Kids or teens are the least superficial people on earth. It’s usually with age that most lose their simplicity, innocence and their ability to trust wholly and love deeply, after a few bad experiences. They are also taught to prioritise money, looks and many other things as they get older which turns them superficial like most adults. I had the sweetest relationships when I was younger, where the people you’re with have nothing but pure love and good …
