The majority of the Danish population is completely for this policy, I haven't met any who are against it. Unfortunately the key politicians are all against it citing national security issues as well as a fear of angering our key allies such as the US and Israel. It's all really rather laughable.

What's the point in only doing for a month? In Denmark, national service is 4, 8 or 12 months depending on what division you join. Which seems to make a lot more sense.

When I was in primary school in Wimbledon in the 90s the school had a policy that boys had to wear shorts all year round, because it was character building. My parents were not best pleased when it was below freezing and I was being forced to wear shorts but the girls were allowed to wear thick winter tights under their skirts.

But the guy's lawyer finally decided that she should see for herself, and found them. So he didnt look through them personally, but his lawyer did it for him. Not true. If you read the article it says clearly that she couldn't cover all that ground herself so she ended up asking for an extension from the judge and then she got Liam to sit down with her and go through all of the texts; so he was literally working his own case because the police couldn't be fucked.

One of the worst examples of this was The Intern. Every man in that was either a piece of shit with an ego and insecurity issues, or a dumb lazy millennial manboy who could barely function in the workplace and just liked video games. Except for De Niro's character who was an old school company man gentleman. The female director's agenda was SO CLEAR and blatant it was almost nauseating. I mean, yeah it was a feel good movie, but fuck the way they portrayed men in it.

Well, I've thrown women out of my place before when they wouldn't have sex with me but in those cases they always lived at least within 20 minutes walking distance and nothing ever happened. I suppose it might be different if she had to walk far.

Well, her silence basically. She HATED his girlfriend and they did not get along but she loves her son and supports him and has seen with her other children that trying to force their hand in relationships only pushes them further away. But when we told her she hit him, she said "that's it, I never want her in this house again and I think you should break up with her". Yeah totally. If we hadn't been around when it happened and maybe also let slip to his mother what she did, I don't think he'd have plucked up the nerve to ditch her but he did. I was actually really happy how all of the people around him reacted to her slapping him; friends both male and female ALL unanimously decried the slap and thought it was bang out of order and his mother was furious.

Good article, and I have to say I agree with it. This is real, honest feminism how it was meant to be. The writer reminds me an awful lot of my mother, who told me stories of her youth when she was harassed and responded the same way. Modern day feminists are an embarrassment to the real ones who didn't want to destroy the patriarchy but merely wanted to be equal. Good stuff.
