Is it true that women over 30 are seen as lower value by men or don’t get quality male attention?A lot of times I get scared thinking about this too (I’m 22) but then I remember dating now isn’t even the best. Most guys my age are still learning just like I am and the older guys who want to deal with me , contrary to popular belief, aren’t quality themselves and usually suffer from Peter Pan syndrome. The guys who are more established and an appropriate age (late 20s, early 30s) flirt and would have sex with early 20s women but tend to settle down with women their age. | /r/RedPillWomen | 10/12/25 08:40 PM
How do you know if a guy is just settling for you?How would you even know if you’re his dream girl? | /r/RedPillWomen | 30/10/25 12:37 AM
Why does it seem like men prioritize their female friends over girlfriends?Your reply was extremely helpful. And honestly when I look at the situations I am talking about most of them do fit into those categories. I am just leaving college so I can only go off of what I saw there, and what I often saw there were 1. Men who had gfs but were emotionally devoted to their female friend (usually one) Or 2. Men who were single but were heavily emotionally invested in their female friend who were not interested in them romantically/sexually. I was surprised to see #2 happen. … | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/10/25 07:02 PM
Why does it seem like men prioritize their female friends over girlfriends?I’ve rarely seen this. From what I’ve seen, and my experience, usually the guy is sitting around wanting to get with you. I have very rarely seen women set up their male friends with other women. The nature of these friendships is what baffles me. It’s mostly just the guy giving and giving and the woman not doing much, which okay makes sense on its own but I’ve encountered this dynamic much more in being friends with a guy and giving him not intimacy than being in an actual relationship with one… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/10/25 04:59 PM
Why does it seem like men prioritize their female friends over girlfriends?Thank you for being honest. I think maybe it is like an age thing, as you mention being a teen at the time. I think most of the responses are from actual grown men (above 25) hence the confusion. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/10/25 04:49 PM
Why does it seem like men prioritize their female friends over girlfriends? After reading other comments maybe what was going on in those situations is those guys were just trying to set up back up options? I’m still a little confused about the guys who don’t have gfs and just sit and do extreme favors for women who are their friends without reciprocation for months or even years. But I’m still reading some of the comments and it’s been very insightful. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/10/25 08:39 AM
Why does it seem like men prioritize their female friends over girlfriends?Maybe I didn’t phrase my post correctly. I am not saying that all of these men have girlfriends and prioritize their female friends, and I apologize if it came off that way. I am saying that I have seen quite a few men around me (and this is where you may have some what of a point, I will admit it has only been 3-4) place a strong priority and devotion to female friends who they yearn for and who give them nothing. And when I mean strong I mean constant emotional, financial, and social support t… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/10/25 08:05 AM
Why does it seem like men prioritize their female friends over girlfriends?Idk maybe I’m around a certain type of men. But this has very much been my experience and the experience of at least 2 of my friends. Maybe it is an age thing , because the men I am talking about are like 18-22. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/10/25 07:57 AM
Why does it seem like men prioritize their female friends over girlfriends?I always assume any guy who’s friends with an atleast decent looking woman who’s straight is friendZoned unless it’s a rare situation (she’s not his type at all). That’s where me and a lot of my other friends disagree. But I still don’t understand what a guy gets out of being in the friend zone? Like why stay there. That’s what I can’t grasp. I always thought men prioritized sex in these situations and they aren’t even getting that. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/10/25 07:52 AM
Why does it seem like men prioritize their female friends over girlfriends? That’s surprising. I just recently graduated from college and it was so common. It was hard to find a guy who wasn’t attached to a female friend in some one sided situation. Me and my other friends were talking about it on the phone just yesterday and I felt like damn, maybe this is a common experience. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 24/10/25 07:45 AM
I have an imbalance in the men I’m attracting (22/F)Haha I have been told I suffer from RBF. I’ve been practicing a more positive relaxed face however. But I dress overall very feminine, that’s always been my personal style.i do think I could work on my body language though, I’m still learning that and there are times it could come off closed off. Also it is seeming like it’s getting to the point of softly initiating things if that’s even the right way to put it, but I don’t know how to do that without being the chaser. Also how to pick up if the… | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/10/25 06:33 PM
How do I reconcile being a “good girl” but with a shameful past?Speaking objectively, 5-10 people isn’t bad for college women our age (I’m 22, soon to be 23 as well). But ofc, we aren’t trying to be the “average”. I am also not at 10 but not too far, so I feel your anguish. I would say take a break from men/sexual intimacy in general for a while. Figure out the exact root of why you did what you did, which is what it seems like you’re doing, such as craving validation or fearing your parents’ fates. Invest in therapy or some type of self care. I know for me,… | /r/RedPillWomen | 16/04/25 11:00 PM
Dating after college hopeless?A good bit of things I’m still working on. Emotional instability, not taking care of myself physically, overall low self esteem. I realized I wouldn’t date a male version of myself tbh I’ve started going to the gym 2 months ago and the difference something small like that has made has been crazy physically and mentally! | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/03/25 12:38 AM
Dating after college hopeless?I keep hearing mixed messages about this. On one hand I hear this sentiment, about how it’s a waste of time or nothing to take serious because at this age we don’t really know much about ourselves and there’s a lot of truth to it. Plus I feel it would be better to date someone while they’re stable and matured rather than fresh out of hs/college. I try to use my parents as an example, they married mid 20’s but after they had jobs and could support themselves. But I also see there’s a rush for som… | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/03/25 03:40 AM
Dating after college hopeless?Thank you for this. I think how close it’s getting to college ending has me even more anxious than usual. | /r/RedPillWomen | 26/03/25 03:03 AM
The Struggles of Dating as an Average Man: Redefining Goals in the Modern LandscapeIf you are average, why do you expect to get a top percentile woman? Possibly a late bloomer (since you yourself seem to be one) but the first option is ludicrous and unrealistic. as a woman, if I’m beautiful, take care of myself, go to the gym, have an education, have myself together mentally/emotionally, why would I settle for average? Same for men who are handsome, work out, great personality, have an education/career, etc. I think a large issue today is people not wanting to date realistical… | /r/PurplePillDebate | 06/01/25 01:00 PM
What does a bodycount qualify as?This is so helpful. I’ve begun to realize that a lot of guys don’t care too much as long as it’s not a crazy number in comparison to the environment/age or if they know the people directly who you’ve slept with, as in their circle. | /r/RedPillWomen | 27/12/24 11:28 PM
Anyone else’s father encouraged masculinity? TWI’m not saying my dad is the sole reason, but I have identified my relationship with him has been affecting the relationships that are independent of him in my life. I also don’t understand how that was combative. That was literally my experience. My dad would even encourage me arguing with him, sometimes following me around the home to continue on with the arguments. I was not allowed to either walk away or obey silently. This also isn’t some “victim” story. Two things can be true at once, yes … | /r/RedPillWomen | 19/11/24 10:25 PM
Anyone else’s father encouraged masculinity? TWLike if I was sick growing up, making me go to school and refusing to get medicine so I could “fight through it”. There were times I’d be getting bullied and he’d tell me not to go to adults but instead practice fighting so I could defend myself. Hell he even transferred me to an even worse lower-income school to toughen me up. When it came to my very first relationship, after I got assaulted he felt that giving me any type of emotional support would make me weak, so he told my mother to follow … | /r/RedPillWomen | 19/11/24 10:18 PM
Anyone else’s father encouraged masculinity? TWTbh I’m not sure either. I think because they feel that a father doesn’t have to be caring at all, when I’m not saying I wish he was some super soft caring father with no flaws, but I do wish he would’ve shown up for me in certain ways. People also think a present father, regardless of how toxic, is better than no father. | /r/RedPillWomen | 19/11/24 10:15 PM
Anyone else’s father encouraged masculinity? TWMy dad probably wants the same thing for me but goes about it in such a harsh way. I understand some of his intent but as you said it didn’t have to be so hurtful. | /r/RedPillWomen | 19/11/24 06:41 PM
Why am I constantly beefing/in conflict with men?Not really. I mean, I had a mom, dad, and brother. However I’m very much more like my dad. I do notice though now that I’m an adult I wasn’t raised in the way a lot of active dads raise their daughters. Like for example, he wasn’t ever protective over me, he always taught me how to protect myself so I didn’t have to rely on a male. I think it was more the dynamics of the household. For a long time I hated being a woman (not in a trans-identifying way) bc it was so far from my dad. Even though so… | /r/RedPillWomen | 03/11/24 02:35 AM
Why am I constantly beefing/in conflict with men?Thank you! When you say incorporating vulnerability, I’m starting to realize this might be a major thing I don’t know how to do. Growing up, my dad always taught me to explain issues without incorporating my feelings , like instead of saying “this person did XYZ to me and it made me FEEL xyz”, I was taught to think/say “this person did XYZ, what do I need to do about this?”. It feels so weird not doing that bc I hate being a victim in anyway, but being villainized 24/7 is no better at this point… | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/11/24 08:04 PM
Why am I constantly beefing/in conflict with men?Like for example, there was a guy that while hanging out, would sneak to turn around his phone camera to show his friends we were laying down together (we never had sex but had an emotionally intimate relationship). I told him this was weird and not to do that, as we knew the same circle of people and they didn’t need to know we were dealing with eachother. He went off and said how I was no one important anyway, no one thinks anything of me, etc. I surprisingly didn’t say anything after, I think… | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/11/24 09:14 AM
Why am I constantly beefing/in conflict with men?I would say like 50/50. Romantic partner or not. | /r/RedPillWomen | 01/11/24 08:48 AM
| -2 | Why am I constantly beefing/in conflict with men? It’ll be guys I dealt with romantically and things went bad , like a bad argument. But other times it will be guys I don’t have any intimate dealings with that will act so aggressively towards me. Maybe It is my personality bc it doesn’t start out that way, it’s like the more and more familiar I become with them it goes south. I’ll admit I am a lot more combative than other women. I really dislike feeling shut down and demeaned and I feel like since men do this to me often I push back against it… | /r/RedPillWomen | 31/10/24 04:08 AM |
Why am I constantly beefing/in conflict with men?It does resolve with both of us going our separate ways, I can’t stop the reputation slander however. but I just hate that it even gets to the point where I am verbally going toe to toe with men or even in the workplace, I’m usually competing or at odds with a man. | /r/RedPillWomen | 31/10/24 03:03 AM
Why am I constantly beefing/in conflict with men? You’re not being that person, tbh I need honesty. It’s too much of a problem bc nobody else is encountering the same thing around me. Yeah before the trashing of the name it is something that includes either a blow up argument, and either me blocking them completely or them blocking me, which I’ve been told isn’t that unusual. I guess the strange part to me is the petty behavior that I don’t see other women going through. Like the smear campaigns and the extent of the arguments, including gettin… | /r/RedPillWomen | 31/10/24 02:53 AM
If I get approached a lot by men and get often told I’m pretty why do most men never actually end up wanting to get to know me other than sex?I can attest, the guys who are more relationship oriented usually approach you on a “wanting to get to know you” basis rather than a random approach. | /r/RedPillWomen | 21/08/24 06:51 AM
How to forgive yourself after letting low value men have your body?I think it has started to become a pattern. After the last most recent sexual encounter (about 2 months ago) , I decided it was time to see a therapist. The encounter was just so traumatic, it was consensual but very demeaning and empty. I felt I had already done it twice, why not a third time, so I wasn’t really pressured either. It was a wake up call I attempted therapy but I could not afford the sessions. My insurance doesn’t cover much. I’ve been trying to find other healthy ways to bring me… | /r/RedPillWomen | 29/07/24 06:46 AM
How to forgive yourself after letting low value men have your body? You’re right, I don’t know that they even talk about, we are in college after all and there’s other people on the campus. but the shame and overthinking has made me realize I’m really not built for this type of stuff at all | /r/RedPillWomen | 28/07/24 04:50 PM
How to forgive yourself after letting low value men have your body? That’s literally the best way to describe what I’m going through (extended Walk of Shame) unfortunately. I can’t switch colleges but I can avoid direct interaction with them for the most part. It’s not even a high number but just sleeping with two guys that could end up meeting eachother leads to things like this. Not to mention these weren’t very mature individuals to begin with, which also reflects on my own choices Thank you for the last paragraph too. Those words really resonated with me. I’… | /r/RedPillWomen | 25/07/24 02:13 AM
