Not really, in a pre arranged marriage, parents would attempt to match based on value system, caste and social status. This was more effective in the past where all of these things were relatively static, climbing the social ladder was extremely difficult if not impossible. Nowadays the prearranged marriage system is inefficient in America, as children can often have a much different value system or social status that that of their parents, for better or worse.

That's not 100% true. To make a prenup iron clad you need to do a few things. Make sure you give something reasonable to her. Contracts have to be reasonable for both sides or they are invalid.
