videos can be staged. women might play along with someone who seems unhinged until they feel they can safely get away or ghost them. some women might genuinely not care but you don’t see the dozens or even hundreds of times other women did care and left. etc. etc. there’s plenty of reasons why i wouldn’t believe those videos.

it all depends on the situation. some divorces, especially when one or both parents decide to turn it into a war, definitely have bad effects, but that’s not inherent to the divorce, it’s down to the adults involved. did you ever read „lisa and lottie“ by Erich Kästner (the parent trap is based on it)? there’s a quote early on in the book which loosely translates to: „on this world, there’s thousands of children who suffer from their parents getting divorced, and thousands who suffer because the…

and if you do go for the traditional arrangement, often being treated as worth less than him simply because you don’t earn money and aren’t really doing anything. all that hard work you do raising children and keeping house doesn’t count as work, after all. nevermind that you don’t ever get a break. that you‘re supposed to be „on call“ 24/7, while he works a 9-5 and the doesn’t lift a finger to help or claims brining the trash out once a week and changing the car‘s oil from time to time is equiv…

why is it ok to be unhappy for the rest of your life? why should we choose that when we can choose the possibility of finding actual happiness? what have we done to deserve misery?

what you hear over and over again in these situations is that very often, one partner (often the woman) tries for years to find a balance while the other (often the man) one ignores it, pays lipservice or complains about „nagging“ instead of listening to legitimate grievances. then when the first partner suddenly stops complaining, second partner thinks they‘ve „won“. finally, she‘s accepted how things are (look up the term tolerable level of permanent unhappiness)! when really she’s accepted he…

the reason why people talk about a „cycle of abuse“ is because children learn what to expect in a rel and how to behave in one from the relationships they see modeled in their lives. that obviously includes more than just their parents, but that is usually the one they see the most. and while that’s usually used when talking about actual abuse (physical, verbal, emotional), it’s true for any kind of relationship their parents have. so staying in an emotionally unfulfilled marriage (which isn’t j…

liberal woman and nope, never had sex outside a relationship. was never interested in it, either. and i’m not asexual or low-libido. it’s just that i’m not interested in being that vulnerable with someone random.

because we’re actual people with full internal lives and not some one-dimensional stereotype designed to vilify us. do you like the way men are stereotyped? do you think those stereotypes are all true? if not, then why would that be the case for women? and if yes, you might need to talk to people offline, and possibly benefit from some therapy, because this is not healthy.

in my experience it’s actually a lot of men that treat women as commodities, especially online and then turn around and extrapolate from that because if they dehumanize us (which is fine and good and normal), then so must we dehumanize them (and that would be unfair and hurtful and unnatural). in their view, they’re supposed to treat us like pokemon cards, but we’re supposed to adore them and treat them like our one true lord and master. now, i haven’t met many men irl that think like this (but …

right? in my experience, what men who want to get with every woman want is use of my body, not me. why the fuck would i want that? there’s a reason more woman are single than ever before.

also, thanks for having a genuine discussion with me on this, i really appreciate the way you talked about this! we often get a lot of hate (and looking at some people who claim to be into bdsm nowadays i do understand that there’s a certain kneejerk reaction), and it’s honestly kind of condescending how often i get told i don’t know my own mind, so i really appreciate this.

yeah, i’m incredibly wary of the way bdsm is being portrayed in mainstream media and in most porn. it’s not something that should be taken lightly and if a partner ever disrespegarded consent and safety, i’d be done immediately. but i’m definitely one of the people who’s just. kind of hardwired to enjoy this. it takes a lot of reading and learning and thorough communication to do it right and, for me, it’s worth it.

i liked the idea before i ever watched porn, started that quite late in life, actually, way after i knew i had certain ideas and desires. i do feel wanted by my partners but that’s not because of the bdsm, but because they listen to what i say and want and need, whether it’s related to kink or not. i like the pain (only very specific types) because it feels physically good to me. i like being tied up cause it makes me feel good, it’s extremely relaxing to me. i feel loved not because one of my p…

not who you asked, but for me, it’s because i ask for it. and i know that other partner doesn’t like it, so he doesn’t do that with them. i don’t lime degradation, so he doesn’t do that with me. it’s about communication and knowing that we do what we’re doing because everyone involved actually enjoys it. i had an ex who refused to do anything rougher and only wanted to „make love“, basically, and he‘s the one i ended up with sexual trauma from. what someone is or isn’t into isn’t an indication o…

You might want to look into demisexuality and see if that resonates with you! At 18, you have so much time to figure out who you are and what/who you’re into, don’t rush, take your time. I’m very happy for you that you seem to be realizing that the black pill is not good, I wish you all the best!

So, this post doesn’t seem to be getting much attention, but I just wanted to say I’m proud of you! It’s not easy to recognize you‘re views might be flawed and to think critically about them and change your mind! Relationships can be difficult but applying such an over-simplified ideology as TRP is not the solution, and you realized that. I’m happy for you!

I recommend checking out r/menslib, they’re focused on men‘s rights without being redpill, it’s about how traditional patriarchal structures and gender roles can negatively affect men, as well and how to live in a world that can have put a lot of pressure and toxic expectations on men.

Why isn‘t it degrading to her to marry a man who had sex with other women before?

The why is it a big deal if women have had a lot of partners? Why wouldn‘t marry one but expect a woman who had less experience to marry you?
/r/ExRedPill04/06/20 05:30 PM
You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
