Okay. This is good. I want to keep looking at this. The thing that bothers me the most about the feedback I'm getting here on this post is you saying I'm trying to make it honorable. I don't want to make it honorable. I don't want to encourage women to excuse themselves for being bitchy or disrespectful. This is making me consider deleting the post or revising it. However, my main concern in being a writer is doing for femininity what the manosphere has done for masculinity: take it out of a sma…

The first two paragraphs of the post are about how I talked to my husband in a calm way about my concerns and it went nowhere. Which leads into the heart of the post. That something inside of me knew that there was something inside of him that could do better, and pursued that. That said, I agree with your comment that there's a shit test and there's losing your shit. As I talk about a lot on my blog, I am crazy, so my shit tests are probably crazier than non-crazy girl's shit tests. It is this …

That was a post that I thought would be controversial but there was never any pushback. Maybe I just didn't have enough readers at the time. I think what I was going for in the post was the idea that if a wife is shit testing at all, it's really out of a desire for the man to lead her. Like.. I have a few friends who are submissive Christian wives. But their husbands have anxiety disorders. So they hold it together 100% and never shit test their husbands. But that's not a product of their submis…

TeeHee, Stingrayvc. Yes I did know. I just wanted to be a fly on the wall for a little while so I could hear some honest feedback. The thing about my husband banning me is.. (and this is probably a future post) that I am not very mature. Or at least at the time I wasn't very mature, I was pretty young in my understanding of masculinity and femininity and very much in a sensitive learning phase. The website I initially came to was the Married Man Sex Life blog, which doesn't even seem to be a thi…

I am a mom and that makes it easier in some ways and harder in some ways. It's easier in that mom friends are abundant and easy to come by, and the awkwardness of making new friends is reduced by 90% because you can hide behind the ruse of wanting to "socialize" your kids and set up a play date. At the same time, I've learned that just because you amass a pack of mom friends doesn't mean you'll really click with any of them on a deep level. It's nice to have though. I've been at home for 3+ year…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
