May I suggest a volunteer organization like Altrusa? My world consisted of our business, my man, and some friends we visited with sporadically as energy permitted. Very good points. I have primarily been able to be involved in Altrusa because my business is at a point where I can devote some hours to service without hindering the business. I also have the flexibility to be involved during business hours - Altrusa does a lot of literacy based service so we work with schools and children a lot.

Junior League is a great organization. You might also want to check out Altrusa if you’re a professional woman. It’s a community service organization focused on building up woman. Dallas has a lot of clubs to chose from depending on where you live. PM for details :-)

Great post. Recently went through this with a friend. Our men have very similar personalities but vastly different results.
