As a chap Im going to say yep call those horrible women out. Ghosting people like thats really not on, but then were all grown ups and some of those guys are probably dodging a shitty/expensive evening out with your friend but then thats not how it feels when it happens.

Just to give a blokes perspective on this. I think instead of thin/thinner women try thinking fit/fitter women. There are chaps who are "chubbie chasers" but holding out for one of those means your looking at a smaller pool of men to date. Probably easier than you imagine. Be supportive Encourage him do your bit around the house and with family. I dont mean be a doormat. If the guys not planning or trying to do anything then theres nothing to encourage but if hes trying to move forward then support and help. Your partners after all.

My 1st thought on this was but do you love him? if so what does the rest matter. But buy the end I was thinking "sounds like a looser". Perhaps the middle ground is to tell him straight that you need to have kids and a stable home to bring them up in before you get too old so he needs to step up or you'll find someone else. I hope he steps up for you but if he doesnt he can still be a best guy friend. but its tough though I dont envy you this decision.

I remember when I was younger this seemed like such an important issue but looking back its really not. Im not sure exactly what you mean by your unproportionate body and Im not asking for piccies or elaboration but I know guys who are chubby chasers so theres someone for everyone. I know there's running gear thats got lycra and very figure hugging but also quite wind resistent. a pair of jeans and a baggyish jumper(tucked in to give a waistline) on top. But it might not work for everyone but 2nd hand jumper and a pair of jeans is a cheap combo to check in the mirror at home before you go too mad.

As a bloke Id like to put a word in for how sexy a nice thick jumper can be. Alot of women dont get this but they really do cling and show off a girls figure. Wear some tight layers underneath so you dont spoil the look, remember layers are warmer than just the one big coat etc. Such a cuddly cozee combo
