Go educate yourself while I still have a shred of respect left for you That's what I did lol. Evidently, we've come to different conclusions. Of course you can't really fault my support of the Soviet Union... their support and solidarity for the Black Civil Rights and African Anti-Imperialist movements are unparalleled by any Liberal. Their support of the global south and their material improvements on the lives of hundreds of millions of people would make genocide contradictory to their ethos. …

I mean comparing me to a Nazi is beyond hilarious. I didn't know that supporting the working class, racial equality, gender equality, anti-imperialism, and collective ownership of the means of production makes me a kin to Hitler. "Recent evidence has indicated that part of the cause of the famine was an exceptionally low harvest in 1932, much lower than incorrect Soviet methods of calculation had suggested. The documents included here or published elsewhere do not yet support the claim that th…

Making you Socialists doesn't make you more fringe as you easily be integrated in the broader Leftist movement. It is not clear to me why issues stemming from your definition of leftism being different from the one most commonly used today are being pinned on us. I don't know what you mean by this Holodomor UUUGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH The 1932 Soviet Famine shouldn't be called that... considering it's origins and that it obscures facts of the matter, but I hope you too have a blessed day.

Tbf you are already a marginalized fringe community and you carry the burdensome baggage of the more reactionary MRM. You don't have to become full tankies, but I would expect self proclaimed left wingers to be able to talk about left wing things. Also I do find the implication that my views are inaccessible and irrelevant to ordinary people a bit offensive, when it's explicitly designed by them and for them. The Soviet Union wasn't built by elitist academics. No, it was built by peasants and fa…

Annnnnnnd there's my point. If you and others view my ideology as comparable to Fascism and Naziism, then what's the point in even talking about anything with y'all? So like I said, the fact that this sub isn't particularly Leftist... eliminates most of the conversations I care about.

I understand, I just wanted to be clear. While it can color my perception of other people's stances, I have to use a definition of Left Wing that is stable and logically consistent and it is my opinion that Americans don't define Left v. Right in a logically consistent way. Eliminates in what way? You can have important conversations despite some differences in political opinion, you know. Yes, but if I wanted to have a discussion on how to apply Marxist-Leninist theory on to the Men's Rights Mo…

I said that, because I wanted you to know that I am aware of where I lie on the spectrum... however when I say that this sub aren't particularly left wing, I don't say that to insult you. I say that because you all are hardly distinguishable from Liberals. This creates complications, because it blinds you all to the deeper issues that spur the alienation and suffering of Men in America and Europe. I do not deny my "far" left beliefs. I take pride in them, however objectively speaking the historical difference between Left and Right in the last century and half has been on the subject of Capitalism whether you're for it (Right) or against it (Left). The Social Liberals and Social Democrats are barely Left Wing by any reasonable scale

Okay, but that leads to a whole nother question... who do they agree with? What "The Left" mean to that person? One can be an Imperfect Ally to a Social Democrat, but an enemy to a Marxist-Leninist. They can be an imperfect ally to a ML, but an enemy to an Anarchist. In order for me to have an opinion on that person's take, I have to know or at least assume, what this person means. This take SOUNDS true, but is it actually true?

Male Feminists consistently screw over Proletarian Men, Non-White Men, Disabled Men, Queer Men, etc.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates09/03/20 05:17 PM

No, I meant what I said. Male Feminists are Male and they treat Women either like sex objects who owe them sex for their good deeds or like daddy's little girl who can do no wrong and gets whatever she wants. It is that latter act of Paternalism more than anything that causes the "good men" to have consistently terrible takes (that and some guys just don't have guy friends, but that's a different beast)

When people are paid or threatened to cry in public for them HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! it does not redistribute to everyone. They should have something superior to UBI, and nope. The means of production are nationalized in line with Marxism-Leninism. UBI isn't generally supported by Jucheists and MLMs and is contentious amongst MLs. They also should have the freedom to relocate, or its not even a country, but a prison. DPRK citizens go to China pretty regularly, though personally the D…

In the 1990s they were still transitioning past their old dixiecrat days. And Bill Clinton was the most conservative since...I dunno, Nixon? No. You're just so fun to have around when I get bored. Wdym by that?

The DPRK is pretty Democratic. Their voting method is different. Like the Soviet Union... a candidate is nominated and debated on in local party, mass organization, or workplace. The election occurs and the vote is Yes or No. If the majority vote Yes, then the candidate is elected, if they vote no, then the process resets. It's different, but it's not undemocratic... especially since Socialist Countries have better voting rights than the US does.

Omg this is the most dense response I've read on this subreddit and saying a lot. I didn't say Social Politics didn't exist. I don't recognize them as part of the left/right dichotomy. They fit better along the Progressive/Traditionalist Axis... or the Radical/Reactionary Axis. Conservatism (in America) is just the more traditionalist and reactionary form of Liberalism. In the 1990s, both parties fit this mold with the Democrats being only marginally less reactionary. Since then the Dems have be…

/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates09/03/20 06:15 AM

The Democrats are Liberals which is not in any conceivable way Left Wing. Also how we define Left v. Right is through economics not social views. There's no Social Left, because thinking stuff Gay Rights are good isn't an inherently left wing position and there are many Leftist homophobes past and present. Yes Strawman, y'all are using an out of date quote that isn't the origin of the term and isn't a reflection of how the term is used in the present day and what it means to many Feminists and Women in general for what purpose... to get mad at a dumb phrase? Legit question: Is this post and thread just anger and emotion seeking justification?
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates09/03/20 05:54 AM

Oh just another note. The King of Spain and Queen of the UK have tons of power and this idea that they're just figureheads is propaganda to keep them from being removed. If HM Queen Elizabeth II wanted to, she could fire the entire UK Parliament. If I remember correctly, HM King Felipe VI has even more power.
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates09/03/20 05:47 AM
1

Well the origin comes from Lesbian Separatists in the 1970s who were tired of straight people and Men. It didn't come from someone's genocidal ramblings. Of course a term as plain as "the future is female" likely has tons of different origins and so it's unfair to mark it that way it's being marked when next to nobody presently uses the phrase with that connotation and I think y'all know that
/r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates09/03/20 05:44 AM
2

What is the "social left"? I don't recognize such a concept. As a resident of the US, I cannot and will not comment further on Countries I know little about so I will not argue nor comment on UK and Spanish law. The US Violence Against Women Act is extremely paternalistic and therefore conservative by nature. The Act was passed as part of the tough on crime hysteria of the 1990s in which the US Empire's police state was perfected. This isn't exactly a win for Women.

I live in the US, most the laws that negatively affect Men are a byproduct of Paternalistic Social Conservatism. I am not from the Kingdom of Spain and have little interest in their politics, but being a largely Catholic Constitutional Monarchy it's safe to presume a similar conundrum their.

You do realize that the woman who coined (or at least popularized) that sentence was advocating for maintaining the male population at 10% of the human population? Technically the phrase predates her writings. It was originally used by Lesbian Separatists... which is still problematic, but the connotation today vs 1972 are WILDLY different. That's because Feminism isn't a singular ideology. There are dozens of Feminist ideologies, some better than others (Marxist Feminism is the GOAT)

Bernie has rejected the social justice narrative about everything revolving around race and gender multiple times, and insisted the focus should be on class That's not quite true. He's just not an IDPol Reductionist, but he definitely cares about the material conditions of Minorities, Women, Men, LGBT, etc. People sometimes mistake him for a class reductionist, because he rejects the superficiality and uselessness of Liberal Perceptions of Social Politics. Instead he takes the more Socialist App…

This is cringe, because it's ahistorical and self serving. 1) Women around the world are still in subservience to Men and in the Global North as well as in Socialist Republics, Women fought for their own freedom and liberation and Men capitulated to their demands. Men did not just graciously give Women rights, Women advocated for themselves. 2) Same as No. 1 3) Wars are fought for Profit, Power, Expansionism, and Defense. Men do not generally go out to war for the expressed purpose of benefiting…

Okay King, last thing I'm a say to you. Socialism is the social change in America, not Capitalism. Karl Marx isn't more recent than Colonialism he was alive during the peak of it and died right before the scramble for Africa. I'm not being disingenuous. I genuinely believe everything I've said to you. You can't really lecture me on my support of so called "authoritarian" countries when I can say the same to you. You support the US and they've done and are doing worse and more oppressive things t…

Because you are a reactionary who is worried about the progress that capitalism brings. Inequality is your fear so we all must suffer. Reactionary: "of, pertaining to, marked by, or favoring reaction, especially extreme conservatism or rightism in politics; opposing political or social change." The term leftist is also fairly recent. No leftists throughout most of history so I honestly don't know what you are on about regarding their standards. They weren't socialists. You're being disingenuous,…

Reacting against Social Progress out of fear Doesn't sound like Socialism to me, King. Whose exactly? The Leftists living during that time period, I literally mention them, King. The terms are fairly recent I mean yeah, but American Slavery, Colonialism, and Imperialism were all "fairly recent" too... so idk what's your point here, King. Badly Functioning The second largest economy in the world that is surpassing the US in growth is badly functioning? I mean fuck the autonomy of the Tibetan Peop…

Socialism is a Reactionary ideology Do you know what Reactionary means, King? Reactionaries want to go backwards, not forwards. Socialists want to move forwards, not backwards I think it's silly to wind the clock back and look at history with our moral standards I'm not. I'm using their moral standards. You do realize Communists, Socialists, and Proletarians existed back then and were making the same criticisms of their contemporaries as I am? History is always relevant to a discussion on politi…

Counter-Racism That's a new one. King, I am not hateful, not of White People at least. That's a lot of energy, I'm unwilling to donate. I only ask that the White Middle Class and White Bourgeoisie stop fucking the little good will I have. I mean if it's racist to protect people you love from the ever present racism, then okay. I'm racist..., but please tell me what's worse advising Black Men to be careful with White Women, cuz of precedent or a White Woman inflicting State or Institutional Violence against Black Men, because of propaganda? Not all White Women are bad. Not even most of them... however, when I tell my sistas to arm themselves, because of the evil Men out there, I tell my bros to be careful of White Women, cuz a lot…

Nordic Countries as with most Western Countries gained their wealth through exploitation. Their economies depend heavily on global south, but let's say the global south decides to to take the means of production for the benefit of their own people, this would be bad news for the West, which is why the US is so Imperialistic. Capitalism is successful in doing what it sets out to do, which is to create Capital. This would be fine if not for the fact that private ownership over the means of product…

I know plenty of interracial couples though, including black men / white women. I have no issues with interracial relationships conceptually, I just don't think White Women are particularly trustworthy and are historically and presently the source of the most dangerous and violent propaganda against Non-White Men.

I mean, how would you feel about some White woman saying to her White friends, "be careful with Black men, they're even more likely than White men to rape you?" I anticipate them saying that shit. Maybe not so clearly and brazenly, but I expect no less. It's not they can't put their dangerous bigotries aside, because many do however they often choose not to. I'm not offended that a racist who wants Black Men in the bottom of society would say that, I expect that from them and as far as I am conc…

The historical relationship and damage caused to Black Men by White Women (and White Society in general) is absolutely a gender issue and has always been. I would expect so called Left Wing Male Advocates to know and understand that. This has all the hallmarks of a Karen. Race and Gender are always linked. Black Men being stereotyped as predators and being aggressively attacked by the state is due to both racial and gender antagonism. I warn my brothas about White Women, because they can and hav…

Well... to answer the question you asked them, respecting a woman just because you are attracted to her isn't respecting her humanity as a woman, but instead is viewing her only as an object of sexual gratification and therefore you don't necessarily view women in general as your equals. TL;DR: Respecting only the fuckable women is generally seen as sexist
