Learning about sincere appreciation towards everyone, and less whining/blaming others about your past failures (as I used to act too serious all the time). As for activities taking salsa lessons and being consistent with it (I gave it 1 year and it has helped me gain more confidence when going to social events)

Hmm maybe, I do tend to do body contact (hugs, arm around her shoulders) but something else is missing…

I’m not a virgin but at the same time never had a girlfriend. I’m 31, average looking but lacking social skills (I believe that not having a father figure and English being my second language didn’t help much). I also believe that confidence comes from a mix of discipline and training (discipline is doing what’s right, no matter what your emotional state is). I’d write that down in a piece of paper as many times as possible to keep moving no matte…

I’m in the same boat man. First of all you have to understand the importance of investing in yourself: what can make you act/look more confident in front of people (perhaps use a shirt or ties more often, work out more, learn martial arts, or salsa). Now the second thing you have to understand is to take rejections lightly. I’m sure you rejected people in the past too, so it’s common for the human being to do that. The point I’m trying to make is to learn how to manage your reaction when you fac…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
