Well that's just plain wrong. The companies that brought them work have lifted more of them out of absolute poverty than anything else. If you want to blame someone, maybe it should be directed towards their employer who sets the hours, working conditions and wage. ​ $2/ hour sounds awful to us in the west, but the truth is to people living in 3rd world countries it's a blessing.
