The men made the decision. 3 of the 9 members are women, and only 1 of the 3 voted against Roe V. Wade.

The issue of women being forced to sign up for the draft is one actively being argued. Personally, I’m glad they don’t have to because I don’t believe that men should be required to either. We should focus on removing our burdens, not forcing the same burden onto someone else and women don’t have full rights when it comes to social situations either. Society has sexism ingrained into it.

I could very easily point towards a Men’s Rights activist from India saying or doing something much more insane. I don’t agree with what they’re doing but I also don’t know enough about India’s culture to say they’re wrong.

that’s straight up not true my man, there are plenty of people who can’t get laid who aren’t incels. Incels almost always have a strong presence online, tend to use social media heavily and almost all of them are supporters of the concept of the red pill. The word incel might be shorthand for the phrase involuntarily celibate, but saying that that’s the only thing it means is like saying that a nazi was just a national socialist, and nothing more.
/r/MensRights02/06/22 06:10 PM

No. There are men who can’t get laid who aren’t incels. Incels are people who blame society for why they can’t find love or sex, when it’s actually their toxic ass personality. Incels are one of the greatest threats to the MRA movement, it should really be talked about more in this particular group
/r/MensRights02/06/22 05:21 AM

Incels believe they are entitled to sex. Men feeling alone is worth pity and empathy. Men commit domestic terrorism, espousing hatred or calls to violence doesn’t. Anyone who mentions “hypergamy” is almost certainly an incel. Women have the power to make their own choices now. You aren’t entitled to find someone to love.

It absolutely is! But the two are unrelated. Efforts should be made to eliminate the draft AND to codify access to abortion and contraceptives as a human right

Men don't have reproductive choices because there is literally no way to do so without infringing on a woman's. Your reproductive rights are: wearing a condom, getting a vasectomy, maybe finding birth control made specifically for men? Removing the financial obligation men face is an idiotic idea, with the exception of cases involving rape. The only thing that'll achieve is creating a lot of fucked up kids and terrified women. You have reproductive rights. But you also really don't have any repr…

Feminism does support men’s rights. Tearing down the patriarchy will only help men, as it will remove the draft, the pressure to hide your emotions, the expectation of protection, the expectation of financial responsibility/generosity, and the way western society treats male lives as expendable. All of this is because of the patriarchy.

Because even into the 1930s-40s, women were viewed as property! A woman was an extension of the man who married her and nothing more than that. And the entire point of making something a federal right is so that it isn’t up to the states. Something isn’t a right until it’s guaranteed everywhere in the country.

The first female CEO in US history attained the position in the 1960s, 40 years after women got the right to vote. There is such a huge disparity in the quantities of male leaders vs female leaders, and that’s not because of biology or a “man’s combative nature”, it’s because being a woman in a male dominated field automatically puts you at a massive disadvantage

women haven’t done anything to you, Christ dude. also, yes, ALL men have to sign up for the draft. It’s the law. Failing to sign up for the draft is a crime, taken straight from the SSS website. https://www.sss.gov/register/who-needs-to-register/ And you’re being facetious, women didn’t have the right to vote until the nineteenth amendment was passed. Women might’ve been ALLOWED to vote in specific elections, but it wasn’t a right. It was something their husbands allowed them to do. bit of a dif…

All men are required to sign up for the draft when they turn 18, and that’s sexist as hell. Instead of forcing others into war, we should focus on abolishing the draft. If this is truly a subreddit about men’s rights, abolishing the draft is the best possible way to start that. The country was formed in 1776, and women got the right to vote in 1920. Progress has been slow. Also, calling them bitches really doesn’t help anyone but your ego my man, relax.

y’all are missing that a reason a lot of women don’t take those jobs is social pressure and sexism. You’re absolutely right that it’s BS, women should share in the dangerous work. But unfortunately it’s the fault of the patriarchy that women are pressured into specific jobs or roles. Women, until recently, were almost always viewed as weaker and in need of protecting by men. While that thought process is actively being contested, it’s so deeply engrained into our society (that we live in), that …

Expecting men and women to act differently is sexism. Should men just tolerate and accept the draft? Should women have just accepted that they weren’t allowed to vote?
/r/MensRights30/03/22 03:24 PM

But the patriarchy isn’t just a cabal of evil men plotting to keep women down. The patriarchy is the western way of thinking, it’s so deeply engrained in us that it feels normal. The concept of a nuclear family, stay at home mom, sexism as a whole is caused by the patriarchy. Men are victim to it too, as you said only the few top men get to profit from this line of thinking, and the rest just get things like the draft, discrimination in family court, presumed guilt,

If it had been assigned to women instead, that would be a matriarchy! But that’s not how it turned out. It might be important to view why the word patriarchy makes you feel the way it does
/r/MensRights30/03/22 05:51 AM

The concept you’re describing is toxic masculinity. Real men do this, that or the other, it’s all a part of the patriarchy. The patriarchy isn’t some cabal of men plotting against women, it’s a societal concept about how we view men differently than women, and a part of that is the expectation that men act a certain way.

most “mens support groups” you find online usually devolve into incel territory. This isn’t the Stone Age anymore. Men don’t need to “protect their mate”. Claiming ownership of someone in no way helps protect them or keep them safe, it’s not a healthy habit in the slightest. You can never own another person. You can share your lives, but you’ll never own someone. There are absolutely positive aspects to masculinity, but a not insignificant portion of masculinity revolves around putting others do…

Fleeing a country that is being invaded is in no way cowardly. Anyone who isn’t actively fighting it should be fleeing too. There are women who are smarter, better and stronger than you or me. Men may have an easier time building muscle or maintaining it, but to pretend this makes all women immediately weaker is sexist as FUCK.

no one is saying it’s a cabal of men conspiring together to form The Patriarchy™️ the patriarchy isn’t a group of people with any desire to work together or to put down women, it’s a thought process that’s been engrained into our culture in a thousand different ways. And I gotta say that’s the inverse of my experience.

Men are just as much the victims of the patriarchy as women are. It’s the social norms and the draft and the toxic masculinity (you’re probably using that word incorrectly!). The patriarchy is the reason the draft is men only, women are viewed as weak and in need of protecting. The patriarchy is the reason toxic masculinity exists, there’s the social pressure or learned behavior to exert your masculinity over others. Feminists don’t hate men as a whole. You may find some that do, but outliers ex…

You understand there’s really no argument here, right? Men have raped and murdered far more often than women have. i don’t think there’s much arguing that can be done against that fact. Men have just, done it more, without question. Men commit more violent crimes, men commit more sexual crimes. It’s partially due to ingrained sexism in our culture, or maybe even mostly due to?

I think it’s important to understand that being a feminist does not mean that you hate men or don’t agree that they have their own injustices to face. Just because you fight for women doesn’t mean you’re against men, and vice versa. Far too many people see one group progress and view that as another being neglected or ignored. That’s the issue with things like the men’s rights movement, it feels as if they’ve been created solely to counter feminism, when feminism itself is liberating to men as w…

The issue with her argument is that averages mean nothing when it comes to the human race. There’s eight billion of us and expecting flawed science to be completely accurate is not tenable. There are so many people and restricting our beliefs to what the average might be is unconscionable. That’s me completely ignoring the “women are emotionally driven” argument that’s just farcical

Oftentimes it’s someone they’re related to, typically someone they share a home with. An example may be a woman growing up with her single parent father, a woman growing up in a household with multiple men, stuff like that. It doesn’t often happen outside of the home or familial unit.

In a traditional nuclear family, women are typically stay at home moms while the men go out and work. as this is is an outdated model, now what typically happens is one partner makes so that the other can build their career, with the expectation that afterwards the partner who built their career will do the same for the one who helped. Man, you seem pretty close to an incel. Not all women are parasites and not all men are good men. People are different from each other, universally so. There are shitbag women and there are shitbag men. This post seems extremely anti-women. He didn't tell her not to go because he was worried about her safety, he told her not to go because he was worried she'd cheat on him. Rejecting her was childish and shitty, especially after she was raped.

This subreddit is for the improvement of men, not the detriment of women my guy

I made a post about how it was blatantly sexist on a different sub and she had her followers brigade it with downvotes, then she came to the post acting as if everything she said was reasonable

All of the posts are the same miserable cunt. I've tried to get them banned before but Reddit loves it when women hate men

What?

Circumcision reduces the amount of pleasure felt by men, and it's just barbaric. It should be thought about the same way that female circumcision is.

I'm a feminist, but I believe in equal rights for all. Equal responsibilities as well. More of a humanist, I guess? I'm definitely not a man hater- man here.

Modern Feminism =/ man hate. It isn't men vs women. There are feminists who use the cause to hate men, but most do not

I know that that group of women is a minority overall, and that there are some areas where women are discriminated against unfairly. I don't think the discrimination is as prolific as they say, but I'm certain it exists. The only issue that really bother me feminism-wise is blatant objectification.

Feminism with balance is great! There are still some areas where women face discrimination, but I just don't think it's where they claim it to be

Advocating for their rights in the face of blatant sexism isn't about men's rights?

You probably have a tough time empathizing with women so. How would you feel if a sweaty, overweight man who reeked of mountain dew and Doritos walked up to you and asked "Not to be creepy or anything but can i fondle your dick?" and then made the fondling motion at dick level

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
