Ima just hop in here. For most people, they collect around people that enable specific behaviours. This is true for both men and women, so instances of assault is less likely to be intercepted by people who are like-minded. Complete strangers will fall into the bystander effect, giving them the impression that it’s not their problem, leading to a situation where such behaviour is not countered. A lot of these issues are just shortcomings of human psychology versus a gendered issue.

To be perfectly honest, I only really joined this subreddit because there needs to be a counter balance. There is a heavier weight for women’s issues then men’s issues in certain cases. People really only see one or the other but to progress as society we need to be able to recognize issues as a whole versus the ‘us versus them’ mentality most people have.

I honestly just want men’s mental health to be considered tomorrow. Being nearly 20, I’ve been diagnosed with depression (or the lethal sad) and it is honestly horrible to even mention. Whenever I talk about it outside close friends I’m either over dramatic or too sensitive. Feels bad man

Haha, men are stronk go brrrrrr In all seriousness though, as a martial artist women are often physically sharper and have way stronger legs than most men can dream of. Yes, a man has more upper body strength but a women with a decent understanding of biology can do serious damage
