There are company policies and codes of conduct for each one. We have state laws and protocols we have to follow as well. I know some companies are stricter and others are not. It depends on your HR department. How you describe your department, you may just get a warning. With how others are, and I’ve seen some medieval ones, you would be terminated. You do not flirt and you do not pursue someone from the company on company grounds or at company events offsite or on business trips. You go with what HR says. You will be interviewed, an investigation will be conducted since this has been reported. Depending on company policy, you will be either given warning or be given your termination.
