How is a career supposed to make anyone happy too begin with? Before women worked, men usually didn't work for someone else because they wanted to, they did because they had to. Why would anyone choose to work if they didn't have to.

Keeps them in check? Not really, and victories they do have are all due to the fact that they are supported by and their entire existence is due to the most powerful countries in the world. Another simple reason is that all nihilistic philosophies, which the west has been based on for a few hundred years now necessarily lead to everything being justifiable. Or rather, nothing can be unjustifiable.
