I met the situational alpha , he asked me out a lot of times, he was a virgin, i pushed a sexual relationship thinking since we get along so well he might as well commit. God he is the man i would still drop my life for in a heart beat. He ghosted me. I ghosted a lot of men in my early 20s and i thought of it as a lesson. I tasted my own bitter pill. Whenever I think of choosing men I think of his values and attributes and the way he treated others and me and the way he was able to prioritise hi…

Yes I know “and” is expensive. I don’t need him to treat me like a queen, I need to see him have some sort of direction in life. Atm his answer to where do you see yourself in 5 years is “with wife and kids”

I did forget to mention , I’m 29F, so as I said, my n count is high beside these last 2. My last relationship lasted 6 years , so dating feels foreign to me now, my poor vetting skills are hindering me. All I can do is do better atm and stick to the basics

I would rather these celebrations don't exist at all. Creates manic panic all over town, cheesy decor, pricier stuff... Cozy up with the loved one watching a movie, cooking together some leftovers, having a good laugh and whatever comes after is the best gift everyday.

I don't mind his religion, is somewhat identical to mine. Both Christian. The only difference is his is more conservative. He grew up with it, then respectfully told his parents he does not want to practise it any longer. That was 10y ago.

he is baptist. I am orthodox. I have only heard bad rumours about some men from this religion for example, they would gaslight the girl to have anal and oral sex only so they can keep their "virginity". I take it with a grain of salt since the baptists are usually really keeping to themselves and never really had interaction with them as such. One concern I have is the fear that he might choose to be with me mainly to gain experience, and then eventually marry someone from his own faith. This wo…

In my country (Eastern European one), policies like this are unheard of. That said, I am not the awkward type and neither is he if things don't work out. It may be if we do end up sleeping together though so I am being cautious. My mother is from an older generation, and her perspective reflects that, as well as the views of older people in general. Among Baptists, it’s still common to marry within the faith, often at 20 or even younger. I take her opinion with a grain of salt, though, since not…

I do not technically work there, I am an intern. To make things more clearly, my nursing school requires me to be an unpaid intern at the hospital. So I am not paid, I am there to help as volunteer kind of. If you could explain in more detail why being coworkers and unequally yoked is considered such a significant issue, I’d really appreciate it. He seems quite different from others within his faith. He may not follow it completely, though that’s just my assumption.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
