| 2 | Now wife works out and loses weightYeah my ex wife did the same thing she got extremely lazy and just laid around eating junk food streaming videos all day right after we got married. She was heavier then me for alot of the marriage and i’m almost a foot taller than her. I would encourage her to try get out and do some active things with me. She called that abuse and shaming etc… then also used it against me for several years. Then right after she asks for a divorce. Suddenly she wants to go out and do stuff, get active eat bette… | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/04/25 08:01 AM |
| 2 | Why are women always so quick to advocate divorce?Guys in the majority of cases have alot to lose. Mostly financially and time with their kids. Its much easier for us to try work it out even if its not perfect than to deal with the biased court system in divorce. In my case i also had morals and i did take wedding vows to be together which i meant. No where in my wedding vows did it say i could just back out because i’m unhappy for a bit. Maybe alot of other men think this way as well | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/04/25 07:47 AM |

| 1 | She wants outYup this is 100% why. I went through 5 months of living with my ex wife “separated”. She became a totally evil different person. She really pushed my limits and i kept mostly calm and tried to make things work. She was being difficult because she wanted me to initiate the divorce so she can play victim. Eventually i told her she would need to move out for a bit or pay half the bills until she is ready to be a wife again and made it clear it is 100% on her the divorce and i would stick to my vows… | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/25 07:51 AM |
| 10 | Why are women always so quick to advocate divorce?I’m in Canada and there is a major financial advantage for women to get divorced. They are in a position to get 6 figures + cash in alot of cases and that is easier than reconciling. Most people have low morals now. I imagine if the courts were in men’s favor to cash in then more men would initiate divorce as well Plus after women cash in they can easily find another guy to pay their way. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/04/25 07:35 AM |
