Unless he's in the military, y'all are teenagers, or there is an end date in sight when you'll move to be together, a ldr will not improve or go anywhere. Don't strain at a gnat and swallow a camel. The calling isn't the problem, it's the distance.

Oh yes! About a year ago, I stopped wearing jeans and switched over to skirts and dresses. I pretty much only wear skirts and dresses, but I, too, own a pair of workout shorts. :) Honestly, though, cleaning, cooking, just hanging out, there are plenty of things that can be done with skirts and dresses, especially if they're longer, comfortable ones.

When you marry someone, you become one with them, you're not your father's daughter anymore, you're your husband's wife. Getting married is a gesture of putting that person first above all others. It might be because you're still a little young, but make sure you feel ready for that before you tie the knot. (You're not getting rid of the love/memories of your father, but you are putting him aside for your husband, your husband will be number one, always, and having his name is an important sign …

It's great that you do this (especially since your man likes that you do!) But I will say that keeping yourself looking good for your man doesn't have to equal putting on makeup. My husband doesn't like how "fake" makeup looks. In fact, the times I've worn makeup, he actively complains, even with styles made to look "natural." It's all about your man's preference, really.

I'm mostly a lurker on this page, but by no means "new." My husband and I were living red-pill before I really knew what it was, because we're sort of old-fashioned people and also, Baptists. I can't really remember how I found red pill itself. We live in the southern US. I'm a work-at-home wife (I teach online classes that really don't demand too much of my time, but do pull in a salary). We have two cats and a dog. We're trying to have kids, but have had some set backs. When I'm not taking car…

This guy is so pathetic. Like, it seems like he feels guilty for being mad at her. WTH

Yeah, I can't help but agree. Especially since when, if asked to explain where they're coming from, their instant reaction is to downvote and be rude. Like, it's sort of ridiculous.

Hey, if it works then do it. I don't think I'm too smart to learn things. Maybe you could explain how showing that you care about someone equals giving up power? Because it is true that I'm happily married, and I've taken up his hobbies, obey him, and make his every meal, set his clothes out for him every morning, do all the chores, etc, but I would not call him an asshole. He's a powerful dude who has put me in my place before (trust me on that one), but he isn't just always mean to me. He does…

lol, yes. And I know you were speaking metaphorically. And I don't think you're wrong overall about sluts riding the cock carousel, but if one is looking for something longer than just a fuck? Being mean on purpose doesn't make sense to me.

Just a slightly different opinion here. If my husband had treated me like "a poisonous snake" and cut my "fucking head off for being a snake," when we were still dating, I don't think it would have lasted between us. Perhaps this is true for super-short term physical-only relationships, but anything beyond that? I think this is a little too much. My husband was an alpha from day one, but he's never treated me badly. Being the boss doesn't have to mean being a senseless jerk on purpose.

So important! You said your vows to him, and it's so important that you still put him first! Some things I do: When he comes home from work, I make sure to get up from whatever I'm doing and greet him. Like, even if I'm seriously grown into the couch, I make sure to get up and let him know I'm glad he's home; I also make sure to ask him about things going on with him before barraging him with cute pictures, and wait to bring it up until he asks what my day was like. Also, unless it's an emergenc…
