Whatever don't need it, don't want a leg up. Go alone.

I wouldn't use it as a bludgeon. It sounds like you still have hope in this marriage. Try to make the ultimatum without mentioning divorce.

So so many women become like this after kids. I don't know what it is with Western women....they have their cake and eat it too...but their husbands are always seen as lazy despite the fact that men today spend more time with their families than at any point in human history. I say dump her. She's gonna do that to you anyway. Writings on the wall.

Go up to her and say "uh mam, do those eyelids ever close?"

Geeze I didn't know this thread was so full of angry leftists. This is a practice that has been done by civilizations for millennia. If you aren't connected to tradition or religious traditions in any way you probably wouldn't understand. But, you do you and play the postmodern liberal victim. See how far that gets you in life.

Nah. It's a parent's decision and connects a young boy to his father. The world isn't all roses, there is pain too.

Not true. "Phobia" is Greek for 'fear of". No fear here at all. Face it, people can have different opinions than you, and you have to live with that.

Speak for yourself. How dare you come on here and lob accusations of this nature. You don't know me and you have no idea what you're talking about.

Yeah don't do this. You won't become a woman by transitioning. You'll just be a shitty looking version of someone in between.

Hey man, if you think you're justified, then you think you're justified. I don't see your approach as healthy, from what I see. But that's between you and God. Best of luck brother.

Dude. I understand where you're coming from. But put down the knives for your son. Poor kid's stuck in the middle of two parents that hate each other and he's gonna be screwed if goes on like that for long.

I think you need help with some good male friends, a counselor or a pastor. You can get by here with connection with others (friends especially) without relying ENTIRELY on your wife to meet your emotional needs. I wouldn't tell her about he recent behavior, since I think it's situational for you and you shouldn't go back to that...but if you tell her she could use it against you and you could lose financially or custody of your kids. Play it smart but get some help so you are stronger and healt…

Sorry to hear you are going through that man. Sounds stressful and not fair on you. Try and be the adult and keep a level head. You want to be the one your kid looks to for stability and those outside of this see as the sane one. Good luck bro!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
