Yes, I suspect you may be correct here. I do have some empathy though. Many of us here, myself included, could have been that guy in the past. I can feel his thought processes...maybe this big gesture will help her see how much I care for her...If I'm her friend for long enough, eventually she'll see that I'm the kind of guy she really needs in her life...etc.

Why not? He probably doesn't even know. He's being nice. He's saying romantic things. He's doing what he has been told will work, what he has been told women want. Internally, he's thrashing around and struggling to understand. Men like this need our help, not our scorn. Then, once their eyes are opened, it is up to them to help themselves. (If, after having their eyes opened, they continue...then yeah go ahead with the scorn)

Rhodiola gives me immense clarity of thought for about 5 hours, then leaves me mentally exhausted. Have no idea what it does to my T levels but it has definitely noticeable neurological effects. Its an interesting supplement and they're frequently all over it in /r/nootropics . Its useful sometimes; I've taken it prior to things like an in-depth technical interview to give me a little edge.

You don't need health insurance in the UK; its all covered under the UK's National Health Service (so its free).
