Schools are all out so reddit has reverted to its summer-version. You're best off assuming it was a joke than trying to rationalize that line of thinking.

You'd have no problem killing Americans because your sister called you fat? What kind of logic is that?

I've seen this stupid thing so many times I don't bother arguing the merits or fallacies anymore. Thought a smaller sub meant in general more original content...

Every single thread on Reddit has it's share of comments like this. Don't give them the attention they crave... Edit: Meant this as it's own comment xantris so don't think I'm replying directly to you haha.

My point wasn't in highlighting a men vs. women dichotomy it was the feminist vs. mensrights dichotomy. The fringier aspects are complete opposites sure but at their most basic levels both sides want equality for both genders so feminists 'losing' is a poor way to phrase it since it's technically possible for both parties to get what they want. At least at the simplest aspects.

Still implying a strict us vs. them mindset that is the problem with both mensrights/feminism in general.

How has nobody else pointed out that this exact picture was posted an hour earlier than this one and now they're both on the front page?

A concise and openly written comment on relationship equality? Bury it to the ground! Honestly though if you don't have a horror story in this sub it's hard to get any attention at all.

I was a sophomore at UConn when this happened and the general consensus was that UCPD basically has to send a report out when a student is worried about something. This is a case of a female student getting scared and then the police doing 'something' about it. Sure it was ridiculous but college is just a glorified daycare most days and they would have gotten plenty of shit if they had students report something and not doing anything about it. It's the equivalent of checking under the bed for mo…

'You know you're in a black-run society when the term white supremacist has a weird connotation' shit makes no sense...

I wouldn't give this nut any more attention they're obviously craving. There're extremists in every group I'd rather this didn't turn into a place like /r/atheism where instead of discussion all there is is posts about these people like they are the norm...

I think keeping both perspectives in arguments is why I like this sub, it needs to happen more. Edit: Not sarcasm

Don't worry, older studies show that most studies are completely BS.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
