So, instead of addressing all of what I said, you’re going to try to put me in a category, when you don’t actually know anything. Self improvement is difficult. Because it takes courage to face your flaws and try to fix them. I get that. But don’t grasp at straws for any reason to put me down instead of making yourself better. That’s just a distraction from the truth that is harder to deal with, and that’s the purpose of this sub.

I didn’t make a snap judgment on your whole character, I made a judgment with the information in the comments you presented. There’s a difference between improving yourself, which is what this sub is about, and putting others down. Being confident comes from improving you you are, not saying others are less than you. That isn’t “being real,” it’s a justification for “I am better than you are.” Becoming better than YOU were has nothing to do with where you are vs anyone else. Being perceived as a…

That would be being more self-aware, which I mentioned immediately before being an asshole. Given context, you said exactly what I did, just longer, but your elaboration is on point.

Imagine being more excited about reddit gold than about bettering your mental attitude to be more self-aware, and less of an asshole. Hm.

Yes, let's take a semantic point and remove it from its context to make this a better place and disregard the rest of the post, whereby you could have drawn proper meaning if you had wanted to. The whole point of that sentence is to address the overarching theme of the difference between our sexes. Since men tend toward logic (or at least, processes) more than women and women tend toward emotion more than men, this is a fair statement. No one is saying everyone of that gender is like that, nor t…

That's fair enough. I think a lot, if not most, of us were there at some point, and you might have saved yourself a few explanations later by elaborating that was how you saw things at the time, though you now know better. Also, women being able to do that continues to become more accepted as time goes on (even though double standard still exists).

Yes, asking for things from another person that they aren't expecting/wanting to give definitely overqualifies you for being a decent person. Fuck society, your relationship with 1 other person--whatever it is--is on your own terms, not society's.

This entire subreddit is based on the notion that all women want Conan, no matter what they may say or even think to the contrary. No. They want an alpha, which is not limited to Conan by definition as you imply. Saying you're not interested in those women is sour grapes, AFC-type justification for not getting them. No, it's exactly what it is. I am interested in fucking women who aren't interested in that one-dimensional persona because they tend to be more intelligent, and that is a cornerston…

Why would most guys here want a woman who wants Conan the Barbarian? Seriously, that image is ridiculous, but even dumber is the idea that I'd be interested in a woman who is interested in that. Worrying about how the format might or might not make you look to others is true beta bullshit. Say what you mean, mean what you say, even if it warrants a text message novel like this guy seemed to think it did. Clearly, it paid off.

Over the top? Possibly. But it is assertive and unapologetic, and clearly got the desired result. How exactly is telling someone what you want and refusing to backpedal on it (the core of this message) being seen as not the way to go in this community? That has been the motto forever--know your values, and if someone doesn't line up with them, move on to someone else. Communicating your values to bring someone on board is expected. Doing so in a way that, now and again, shows your capable of mor…

Has that much use of "actual" been FDA approved? Also, it was in reference to a funny reddit thread from a while ago, too lazy to look for link. However, I would definitely give badassery points to anyone who did pick it up as a hobby.

You completely missed the point. When you set an appointment, you don't explicitly give an option of no. You don't ask "Is it alright with you if we schedule a time for me to come over and talk about this?" you say "Alright that sounds great! This Tuesday, which would be better for you, morning or afternoon?" You don't ask if, you ask when.

You don't "ask" for the number because there is an easy option of rejection built into the asking. It's like anyone in sales of some sort: you go in with confidence because it helps get them to know what you know--you've got something they want. The more alternatives you give someone, the more likely they are to take one that isn't what you'd like. In another metaphor: it's easy to pick a letter in a multiple choice question when one fits how you feel. It's harder to speak up against it when non…

Vaginas come in all sizes just like dicks, making this entirely a personal preference. Just because some girls want long-dong-zilla doesn't mean there's no glass slipper(vagina) for a sharpie-size or stub-puck dick.

It sounded like you could use the harsh reality check for being petty enough to ask the internet for a witty response at all. Couple that with you telling all of us how she was shallow and just trying to get under your skin.. yeah, alright.

I didn't make it that far. I wanted so damn badly to enjoy that show but after 4-5 episodes I just didn't like it. Wasn't bad but I was just kinda bored.
