Doesn’t bother me much, but I find it interesting that body shaming only seems to be okay and funny when it is towards men. And as a man if you get upset it is seen as “telling on yourself” or “taking it too seriously”. Remember, society expects you as a man to bottle up your emotions, take things in stride, and ideally die on the job.

Not a woman, but in my high school days I was in a relationship with a girl and we fell out quite publicly in the school. She started a rumor after we ended that I was putting my hands on her, and that label followed me throughout my time at the school (from 10th grade onwards).

Body shaming men seems to be one of those double standards that society is okay with.

I am less scrupulous than you, and the biggest woman I’ve dated was around 5’6” 270+ not a unit but not small either , and I’m not a particularly tall guy. I had to explain to her many times (she was insecure about her weight, so I had to be delicate) that there are just certain sexual things she and I couldn’t do because of the mechanics involved. It’s worth it if you’re in say a marriage or relationship to just be honest with your partner, and if you’re just courting a chick tell her from the …

It’s always important to take what rappers say and really with any famous person says with a grain of salt. In his song, quitter, Eminem directly and openly called for his fans to beat the shit out of the music personality “Everlast”

The hotline page is there but not the number. Very interesting.

Men don’t have feelings. That’s what’s trying to be brought across.

It’s… it’s a joke. Urban Dictionary is a giant decades old joke. Run by adults.

In Middle school I was jumped by a group of girls since one of them didn’t like me very much, and they beat me pretty good until I got my hands on one. Started swinging and that was the indication everyone needed that it was time to break things up now. They continued to bully me for the remainder of my time at that school, but if ever it got physical or loudly verbal I was always the one removed from the situation to go sit in somebody’s office. One of the girls, Z, tried to get her brothers to…

If anything, it’s one of the oldest forms of commerce.

There are absolutely no health issues associated with non-habitual masturbation. It does not make men “weak” , any more than strip clubs do. I notice people who don’t like porn rarely say we shouldn’t have strip clubs as well.

My thought process is this: if they beat this man to within an inch of his life, and if they weren’t fucking stupid enough to do it right in view of video surveillance, and doubly stupid enough to fucking record it, their story about why he got his ass beat would be THE STORY.

“According to local news station WWBT, Strotman was put on paid administrative leave for a year after the 2023 cases of NICU abuse came to light, and then she was allowed to return in late 2024. Strotman was terminated by the hospital on Thursday before Henrico Police arrested her.“ They knew wtf she was doing, and tried an inept cover up!

First I’d like to say, you are far too concerned with the opinions of others on you and who you are as a person. I am not saying be aloof and ignore others in the social world, but your issues of “please don’t bully me for my beliefs” would be patched up along with the crux of your post by just securing yourself a bit more. You can’t say you don’t support something if you can’t even articulate why. That’s why learning to speak, and to speak with force, is important for a man.

Explaining my personal opinion is pushing it on people? Alright. The tone of your response here sounds a bit emotional, if I might say. I don’t think people who gel with therapy are wrong or weak for doing so, like some from the older generations do. If it works for you, great. More than great, I hope it keeps working. Just ain’t my thing.

Well dialogue is curative, at least for mental afflictions. We’ve know that since Freud was still practicing.

So what? At the end of the day you get a check and I go off to wallow until the next session, and nothing changes except you made me talk your ear off for two hours. Therapy genuinely does not work for some people man. Get over it. I am personally far too cynical to trust it.

Just because it works for you, doesn’t mean it works for everyone else. I personally couldn’t ever trust that someone who’s getting paid to listen to my problems actually gives a fuck about trying to help me fix them. I don’t know how anyone could trust that…
