I got mine done last year at 26 years old. They cut out a segment, clamped both ends, and cauterized the ends as well. I have 2 scars that are barely noticeable and fading. No side effects. I don't mind cops because they are relatively predictable and easy to understand. They will treat you like the most dangerous threat to their lives until you give them a reason not to. If you obey the law they won't fuck with you. The handful of times that I've had interactions with dickhead cops, I broke the law and that's why they pulled me over/stopped me.
