Some teachers work at specialized camps, like if there was one focused on musical theater and acting then a music teacher that already knows how to handle children and is qualified in the subject would be a great choice. HH/Deaf kids would be another example, they even have STEM camps for younger kids now. They also might work in higher up positions; my SiL teaches special education and she serves as an assistant director at a special needs summer camp during her off season.
