| 2 | Do men think less of women when they invest in gifts?Yeah wtf, I'm a man and completely disagree with the previous comment. Sex and sexual acts are the most basic form of affection in a relationship, of course they are important but so are other languages of love. "Don't do gifts, just fuck him" is terrible. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/05/26 04:48 PM |
| 3 | Do men think less of women when they invest in gifts?I mean, it depends on the relationship no? If my girlfriend/wife showered me with gifts it'd be fine, no issue at all. If a friend showered me with gifts, I'd be thankful but also put a bit in a difficult position because I would feel like I have to reciprocate, I would wonder if she's trying to hit on me and my partner could be a bit jealous. If an acquaintance showered me with gifts, I'd be a little weirder out, plus the same problems as the friend. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/05/26 04:46 PM |
| 7 | The majority of men who seriously struggle dating and finding a partner were bullied in adolescenceI don't think anyone here is scapegoating women, if anything OP is scapegoating other men. That said, while it's true that it's a human problem, in my experience it seems that women are permitted to be less confident without repercussions. This is a problem itself, because it means society expects a submissive woman, but while the "strong woman" archetype has become more mainstream, the "timid man" archetype is still despised. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 26/05/26 04:42 PM |
| 2 | Do Women Actually Believe Men's Dating Struggles Are Real? You know, it's not the first time I hear of this. The idea that women are just better at life and men are either emotionally stunted, incapable of physical or sentimental work or dumb, is pretty widespread. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 27/04/26 11:37 PM |

| – | Men have strong "men are wonderful" bias which makes it impossible to talk about any behavior any men display.Thank you, English is not my first language so I wasn't sure what he meant. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/02/26 08:50 PM |
| – | Men have strong "men are wonderful" bias which makes it impossible to talk about any behavior any men display.would you elaborate? I don't think I understand what you mean by in-group and out-group | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/02/26 12:05 PM |
| – | Men have strong "men are wonderful" bias which makes it impossible to talk about any behavior any men display.yes, it's impossible to be completely unbiased | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/02/26 12:03 PM |
| – | Men have strong "men are wonderful" bias which makes it impossible to talk about any behavior any men display.I think overall it all boils down to tribalism: people tend to have a bias towards the group they belong too, so men will defend men and women will defend women. Smart people are able to reject the bias and see things as they are. | /r/PurplePillDebate | 25/02/26 11:15 AM |
| 0 | Before you help any woman in the snow, ask them if they think men do good for societyYes? Obviously? And in OP's scenario the man doesn't even know which views the woman holds, he just wants to make sure she holds the "right ones", which is ridiculous. | /r/MensRights | 26/01/26 05:29 PM |
| 20 | Before you help any woman in the snow, ask them if they think men do good for society"I'll help you on the condition that you believe men are good for society" isn't really a good look. Kinda proves the opposite of the point you are making. | /r/MensRights | 26/01/26 02:10 PM |
