Sounds like women’s sacred knowledge in action! I’ve seen it too. For example, I’ve met couples and thought “it’s not going to work” and lo and behold a few months later they break up. I thought everyone had that intuition, but when I mentioned I can predict breakups in front of a group of close friends they looked at me like I have two heads...

A lot of the abuse, possessiveness, and domestic violence among indigenous populations in canada were taught to them either through generational trauma or religious indoctrination. Either way, the settler influence has led to the rates of missing and murdered indigenous women where I come from. Try living in the middle of nowhere and having a colonial government make it illegal to fish or hunt, kidnap your children and send them to residential school, and make it illegal to leave the reserve wit…

I don’t know, however you can try and glean something from the original poster https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMe2neoNT/ It’s tragic that such an incredible culture was decimated by colonial settlers. I pray for the indigenous cultures to find new footing and the respect it deserves.

It’s not that you’re inherently not worthy of respect, that’s never the case. It’s more so that HVW will cast people out at the first sign of disrespect. Showing people the door is your job.

Another way I talked myself out of denial is asking myself “would I have done this to someone else?” It helped me realize the kindness I was extending to others was actually doormat behaviour.

It may be because she’s turning her anger inwardly, likely thinking “He dumped me because I’m not pretty/skinny/sexy enough.” And justifying his mistreatment and lies that way. Just speculation from my personal past thought process.

It’s because many women are so deep in our brainwashing of pandering to men that we’re convincing ourselves that we want what men want. It’s an extreme version of the “cool girl” persona: Becoming nothing but man-pleasing machines. And they have stopped seeing their own personal gratification (emotional attachment, respect, quality time, status of GF/wife) as worthy of pursuit. Instead they gladly accept the crumbs they give us and convince themselves that they are satisfied with it.

I do spoil myself :) my family and friends spoil me too. It’s so nice to have a life full of happy ladylike energy. This year I received so many kind birthday wishes and gifts with no strings attached. I feel like I’m living on a cloud. We are so self sufficient, we grow our own bouquets! In the summer we cut roses from my mothers rosebush and enjoy the freshly cut flowers all season long. This is such a stark contrast from my last relationship that was nothing but gaslighting, flirting with oth…

Hey nothing wrong with being godly if that’s your choice. But I do hate when guys start dating a girl thinking that they’re going to “convert her” just for show. Like it’s just to appease their parents and larger community. So basically a lie. I know two guys who converted to Islam in order to marry Muslim women. Now they pray regularly and are much more spiritual than before they met their wives. Their wives both want to raise their kids Muslim and also happen to dress modest. It’s quite common…

I also find it interesting that on her Wikipedia page, this book isn't listed in the "selected works" section despite (1) the book being over 300 pages, and (2) pornography being her area of expertise. I wonder if we can work on completing that section of her wiki to ensure others know this text exists.

Semi-relevant to the posting: When i was younger I always thought banned books and censorship of speech only existed in dictatorships. Through systemic erasure of certain types of literature, we have effective censure. Also, I flipped to a random page of the text. I really hope her work is taught in sociology courses.

agreed, why would i pay a man to gaslight me on behalf of other men? Same goes for white therapists who don't understand my unique struggle as a WOC. My last one asked me "aren't you currious what its like to date a white man?" WTF???? How and why?? EDIT: the therapist in question was a woman. Still gross regardless though. She seemed to think white men were somehow better than men of colour?? All men are equally ick.

Agreed. I think men need us to hold them accountable. If we don't communicate our high expectations, how will he know I have them? Sure if he backpedals when I ask "when"? Then I know its a great time to walk away. But, if he steps up to the plate, then its a bright green flag. A very healthy "test" if you ask me, since he's the one who started it with his future-talk.

It's only classist because she's black. FDS is all about woman power, but only if the speaker is a white woman. Ladies on this sub have to start accepting and applauding BIPOC's success and their valuable insight. u/tallwomenneedlovetoo's points were solid. She even took the time to acknowledge her privlege in that her finances and education have helped her see her worth.

I don't get it, why would someone invest in a house without a foundation? This cohabitating thing is honestly getting to me. I think at one time it was spicy and liberating, but now I feel like its a new form of patriarchal power over women. Even conservative guys want to "date and get to know me" without involving our families, when in our tradition thats a big no-no. Why would I invest my time and energy in you, just for you to disapear? All men seem to want their cake and eat it too, even the…

These RP/incel/misogynistic men are also broken in some type of way. Whether its through pornography, their patriarchal mindset, or family troubles (daddy/mommy issues). So they are incapable of placing themselves in a healthy relationship or even desiring one. Porn: Their madonna/whore complex stunts them from finding wholesome fulfillment from women, and so they only see women as objects. Broken families: They saw their fathers abuse their mothers (or perhaps were abused themselves). They blam…

I used to swear by aerie. I switch to Calvin Klein and had slightly better luck with comfort but it is on the pricey side. Just buy one and see how it goes. Also it may be your laundry detergent, try using less of it or using a gentler brand.

Semi off topic: Ever since I switched to an old fashioned safety razor I've saved so much more than DSC. I spent $40 on 1 razor (I got a fancy one, some are cheaper) and 10 blades in summer 2019 and am still using them (I have enough extra blades left to last me to summer 2021!!). And better for the environment too.

LMAO what is this?? Affirmative action??? My body ain’t a charity!!! Brown (south Asian) men do the same thing ugh 🤢 they get SOO mad when a brown woman marries outside of her race and call her a “hoe”. She’s only a hoe if she isn’t yours!! Also I think brown men are starting to realize brown women aren’t putting up with their misogyny and mommy issues (and cheapness) and they don’t want to level themselves up. Instead they want to blame brown women for betraying the culture.

I don’t get it. Feminism literally is just asking for equal rights. Like... stop raping us, oppressing us, preventing us from driving, opening bank accounts, and getting educations. That’s it. When I take my girl(friend) out for her birthday I still pay because that’s friendship/love. I won’t go “equality NOW” and demand she pay when I invited her out. If I don’t pay for my friend then it’s just a glamorous hangout. Not a (platonic) date, or a celebration anymore.

I wonder if that’s why NVM with serious issues (financial instability, emotional problems etc) think that having a gf will solve their problems. I’m sure you’ve seen guys who should really be focusing on themselves and are on dating apps. Like men know that being with a woman will ease all these burdens for him (and increase the burden for her). But what does HE bring to the table??? Hmm

Honestly! What’s up with these tech support guys trying to chase ladies with masters degrees? I have no problem with people working in customer service, but these tech support guys lie and say to girls that they work in sales, engineering, startups, you name it. Anything BUT their actual role. And they have the audacity to do this to girls who are wayyyy outside their pay grade. Why are men such delusional buffoons? Stay in your lane (and your league)!

If a man is too eager he’s either: - pornsick/creepy - has very few options (and so he over-invests early on without seeing if he actually likes you first. Part of vetting is seeing if HE is vetting YOU) - is unstable Run.

I think both of us are saying two sides of the same point. I’m saying that the deep dive shouldn’t be used to create emotional attachment, which many pickmes do. Yes vetting is important. You and I venture down a “private investigator” rabbit hole“ which is good. But other girls (non-fds) fall down a “price charming” rabbit hole which is bad.

I don’t think you heard her correctly. She said that it’s important to vet online for the basics. The more nuanced point she was trying to make was to *not* to dig deep and fantasize about him, such as seeing a photo with him with a baby and conjecturing “he must looooove kids” and things like that.

I once had a “boyfriend” who was always flip flopping between “I love you and want to marry you” to “I’m not ready to be engaged”. And not only that, but its also benificial for MEN to treat women and children with respect. This father now has the pleasure of dying while being surrounded by friends and family that love and care for him!! He's sick, but he's still a happy man who is loved and cherished. He built social capital, and had a great time doing it. This is the reward for living a high value life. It's his social retirement plan. So did I. Its always beautiful to see someone lead a meaningful life. And its sad to see people waste their time on earth being a bunch of degenerates. It just goes to show that if a man is not high value in every aspect of his life, he doesn't value himself.

Also look at how quick he is to blame all of womankind “these sisters ain’t shit”. When in the Quran and their Nikkah certificate it literally states that he MUST provide for her. It is her right. And if she decides to contribute to the household (by her own choice), it’s considered charity, the same as giving to a beggar. And if she decides not to give charity, that’s her decision. And if he doesn’t provide then he is actually failing as a husband. Why blame sisters?? It’s God’s rules you’re ma…

Also don’t be fooled, the example I gave was a juvenile one, but from a charming, extroverted and educated man these stories are a lot more sophisticated. They also require the victims to be empathic listeners, so basically the kinder and more loving you are the easier it’ll be to fall prey to this. Talk about sicko.

The thing is they don’t only do this in conversation. It’s also part of their hot and cold tactics and is an overall characteristic of their interactions with you. I have a few theories: Many video games aren't designed for women users in mind, so the themes/motifs/activities of the games just don't have the same appeal. Men on the games are rude to them. Women simply don't gravitate towards it due to biological differences (i.e. hunter/gatherer premise).

inste of raising /lowering their standards for their future partners, start by raising your standards of yourself. It’s slightly different. Gaslighting is denying the truth as a form of abuse/crazymaking. The article is referring to a form of control via brainwashing (rewriting norms -> controlling behaviour is okay).

Classic muslim men. Muslim men are soooo busy looking for women to have non-commital fun with because they "dont know" what they want for all of their twenties. This includes negging muslim women for being "too halal" because they won’t comply to their sexual advances. Then when they're done with their fun, they ask their parents to be arranged to a girl with a "good reputation" (i.e. virgin). Idk, I had a friend who once told me "I used to do that sh*t and let the girls come to ME. Now I realize it was wrong and I am more gentlemanly". (He was referring to making girls come to his part of town for a date, rather than him go to meet her). So some men have transitioned from LVM to HVM and maybe want to impart some wisdom about their old tactics? Not sure the logic but I appreciate it nonetheless.

Fork! All these women need FDS to unlearn this. I spent so much time decoding what men were “really saying” through their breadcrumbs. Once we stop taking their shit, they’ll stop handing it out.

What men get out of wasting their own time I will never understand. Was he just going to buy you dinner every fortnight until the end of time??

Dates became a nuisance the moment pickmes started accepting laundromat dates as the gold standard and for sleeping with men without commitment/respect. Women have spoiled men.

I agree, in the first stages of dating (as a woman) I am not monogamous. Its not about "a man's biological" nature, as the same thing happens when my girl friends only see 1 person in the first stages of dating. They build up the person to be their soulmate on the first date, when in reality, its a lukewarm connection. The reason women find it creepy is because a man can't love us after just meeting us. It starts to make us wonder how many other women you've fallen head over heels for. And norma…

I'm 25 and brown, born and raised in Canada to immigrant parents. I hate brown accents/weak english skills, I just find it unsexy. That being said I don't even find the gold-standard french accent particularly endearing either. I feel like the man is not understanding me, and I'm defenitely having a hard time understanding him. So if you're ESL, learn how to communicate/socialize. Be smart. Brown guys are usually known for being career oriented (at least in my culture), so use that to your advan…

Oh my gosh yes! And some guys will ask me on a second date before the first date is even over, or start texting me nonstop after our date. They act as if they're my boyfriend already... When in reality all we had was 1 lukewarm date! I noticed a common trend with these types of guys is that they're always worried about whether or not I like them (and I know this because they tell me so). So they base their self worth on wheter or not a woman finds them appealing. It makes me wonder: What did you…

I think we like to assume that everyone makes logical decisions based on facts. That simply isnt the case. People have issues. and I mean ISSUES. Some people only like to flirt, some people like to over-invest and then run away at the sign of commitment. etc. People are messed up. Stop trying to decipher why someone isnt interested. Who cares why? Focus on being your best self, (this is a LOT of work btw) and when the right person comes along she will be so enthralled by you that you won't be pl…

Facts. I'm not a model or anything, but I'm cute. When guys fall head over heels for me on the first date and start acting crazy it makes me run the other way. You don't know me, so how can you say/act as if you're in love with me?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
