I'm more annoyed by the suggestion of BDE. It largely suggests that men get confidence from the validation on account of their popularity with women, which is sometimes true, but if you aren't born with confidence you usually get it from accomplishment, which women are attracted to. This is a lesson that would create happier men and more satisfied women than this pop wisdom that people are just born with confidence does.

I know of a guy through a friend of mine who is jacked as fuck and truly has an idgaf attitude. He slays a lot of women...but I'm convinced that he's bisexual, with a strong preference for men. So, I think that's why the idgaf attitude in the face of smoking hot chicks is so authentic - I think he can truly take or leave women, and nothing's more attractive to women than that.

Although natural brain chemistry might account for some of your negativity, there is definitely things you can do to improve your outlook. I was reading about a study a couple days about how negative thinking reinforces those neural pathways and makes your mind more likely to go down that path again (you've got some rewiring to do! It won't happen overnight). Also, physical things your body does can elevate your mood; people who hold a pencil in their teeth forcing them simulate a smile in fact …

According to Wikipedia Shannon gained popularity as a male name before it caught on with females. Stacy is also a unisex name. I've known males with both names.

Sorry if I was unclear. He was basically trying to get her to determine everything. I can't recall the exact exchange, but it was a situation where he kept asking her to fleshout the specifics exactly as she would like them; she kept deferring back to him...but he would not take the leadership baton she was trying to hand him. It was just very wishy-washy and not a good look.

Those poor fucking children. I cannot imagine how their life is gonna be once they hit school age...and more importantly, the long-term consequences not only for their mental health, but for their eventual relationships with their parents. This is a time bomb just waiting to completely destroy everyone's life in this family.

Allow me to be the one person to say don't trash your marriage quite yet - it seems to me like you're pretty much resigned to it anyways, though. Now is the time for dread game - if she doesn't care enough to get herself together to save the marriage, well, then it's time to ship out.

I think the most important thing to recognize is that thanks to rule 2 you can be assured that most of the people feel the same way you do. All you need to do is take the initiative in starting conversations. They will probably be thankful that someone's taking that step for them. Others will probably be drawn in if you get into a compelling conversation. Ask them what there favourite movie is and then ask why it is The Thing.

Perhaps vigorous exercise. Part of the emphasis on lifting has to do with increasing testosterone and all the benefits it provides; low-stress exercise isn't going to do that.

Schlafy's claim to fame was organizing the defeat of the Equal Rights Act amendment to the US Constitution. Traditionalists claimed that it would lead to the draft requirement being extended to women, the end of alimony, and end of child custody favouritism for women. In some ways, by preserving some traditional elements, isn't it now the worst of both worlds? Men are stuck with the traditional responsibilities while women have a host of new freedoms at odds with exclusive long-term commitment a…

Break up with her citing your sexual needs. Don't make it an ultimatum, but it will leave the ball in her court. Besides, why are you dating an older woman anyways? If she was putting out maybe you could argue for making an exception, but these two strikes should take her out of consideration.

Show up 45 mins late, hang out for a bit and entertain them for a bit, then leave early. It gets your foot in the door, an opportunity to make an impression, but neither over commits your time or money - that, and if things are going well, you'll leave her wanting more.

My Mom has always said that while parenting is a lot of work and all of that sort of thing, having children is ultimately a selfish act. This is her attitude after having 6 kids...so it's not like she didn't know what she was getting into after the first couple.

I think you're going a bit down the garden path. Who says they were facing torture? The spectre of becoming a solider in a war-torn country, sure, but there doesn't seem to be any indication in the article that they were facing certain death. Immediacy, nature, and the scale of the threat I think are lacking here. Someone being threatened with rape by a powerful man is not only facing sexual violence, they are facing the very real concern that they might be murdered in short order; it would be a…

I'm disinclined to use the term of "rape" so broadly myself. As far as I'm concerned rape is the physical overpowering of someone in order to penetrate them. It could very well be argued that the threat of deportation was a threat of government violence, but it's just that - a threat. The SJWs want to broaden the terms of "sexual assault" and "rape" to be easily accessible when they want to tar and feather someone they don't like; TRP shouldn't help them.

I would agree with the underlying sentiment but would view it from an evolutionary perspective. Males have to attain value to get laid, then when they have produced offspring they become driven to provide for them the best that they can. It's at that point that most males become 'real men' in the sense that they strive for long-reaching goals rather than immediate satisfaction. I struggle personally with this as I was raised in a traditional religious family and always assumed I'd get married an…

She definitely sounds like trouble, thus not worth truly pursuing, but I think you've gotta throw out there that you'd like to give her a chance, but you're not willing to have your sexuality held hostage because you're not getting any younger (the bonus is the underlying implication that she's not getting any younger either...which is worse for a woman, a nice understated neg). PET was more dangerous because people actually respected his intellect. JT's just an empty suit, and by the next election the honeymoon period will have worn off and anyone who isn't a die-hard Liberal, will have realized that the Emperor has no clothes. PET was able to do 3 majorities worth of damage, although it was his last term that was by far the worst.

Can't ignore that Chretien ran on the promise of 'axing the tax' only to use those added revenues to help balance the budget. The Liberals knew full well they couldn't eliminate the GST because it was a replacement for the Manufacturers Sales Tax - a swap that was devised to keep Canada competitive with the newly introduced Free Trade Agreement. Didn't stop Canadians from giving those bastards 3 consecutive majorities.

That she was embarrassed and clearly worries about how you perceive her is a chalk mark in the keep-her-around column. I guess it just depends if she keeps banging your roommate or not - could be a strange situation knowing that she's attracted to your roommate and knows him in the Biblical sense even if she supposedly goes exclusive to you.

It is not just the fear of damnation, it is often that family pressures discouraging divorce and/or having a child out of wedlock (thus they're less likely to get knocked up without the complicity of the man) are going to advantage men.

So now comes the moment where you find out if your friend has been reformed of his oneitis or if he can rationalize anything away. Agree 100%. Say what you will about MRAs and their whiny tactics, at least they have more expansive goals. Evolutionarily speaking, what is the point of banging tons of chicks if we live in a society where you can't have children and have your rights to custody and wealth respected by peers (and thus the State). There is a certain nihilism to a lot of RP philosophy because there doesn't seem to be an end game most of the time.

I don't like the look of fake tits from what I see in porn - they tend to look hard, or have scarring, or deformed...any number of problems. THAT SAID, I've only banged one woman with fake tits and they were really nice. She was a natural CC and she moved up to a DD - so it's not like she tried going from an A to a C or D. My dad is 68 and I can tell you that he's had some friends go through fucked up divorces. I'm no expert, but you need to pass some courses in order to apply for a firearms license. Carrying a gun in public for the purpose of self defense is illegal as I understand it. Our knife laws sounds pretty similar. Once thing to consider is the atmosphere with which armed self-defense is treated. I've read news stories throughout the years of rural guys firing off guns to scare off home invaders and getting charged with illegally discharging a firearm.

There is a hugely disproportionate number of hot chicks at the gym. It doesn't take much to strike up a conversation and never forget that familiarity breeds attraction - so if you're running into them all the time your appeal increases. As far as other hobbies, I've run into a lot of hotties in martial arts. It's a good way to get to know new people in one-on-one interactions as oftentimes the instructors will try to mix up practice partners.
