read the OP closely. I asked how did you realize you need the KNOWLEDGE FROM THIS SUBREDDIT instead of the subreddit itself. by the way the internet works, most people don't just stumbled onto this and agree with it - they usually have an idea and then search for it on the googles

thanks for the advice! he started school late at 27 years old. Went to college at 27 but finished within four years with a computer science degree. With a few years of experience, he earns 180k but in SF, rent is expensive. Does the fact that he started college a decade late change the verdict?

Thanks! he started college late (about a decade late at age 27. finished in four years with a computer science degree). Racked up student debt (tuition was 5k a semester). I don't know how much he racked up but it sounds like he is in lots of debt. He said it would take him at least a year to pay off. Does the fact that he started college a decade late change the verdict?

thanks for chiming in! I live in SF bay area. Tech pays very well here but rent is really expensive too. average $3k for a studio. he also started school a decade later than usual but finished within 4 years with a computer science degree.
