'Check your structural violence.' They probably won't engage after that as at some point even a complete half wit will have recognised the structural violence of pinning the offences of an entire race and gender on an individual. Oh the delicious irony of it all. But if they are dumb enough to take the bait have at them.

Goodness me... almost a silly here as it is at the radfem gender critical page. Almost! Not quite as loony. Not only wouldnt argue that but would, like you argue for them being gender neutral. As for the 2 to1 issue. It is not trips to the bathroom but time spent. I guess one point being that public restrooms often take up equal space. The mens loo has stalls and urinals. Can pack a lot more peeing in the same space compared to women's. That might be the logic behind a seemingly unfair distribution of facilities.

Sharing out bathrooms unequally seems like a reasonable use of public resource to me. Women need stalls for every bathroom use but male micturation doesnt require stalls. Who here has not seen huge queues outside womens bathrooms while the stalls go unused in the men's? Sorry to come back with a wall of text and to probably read too much into the original post. This is tangential: but given the gross differences in sentencing. But also the gross over representation of men as violent perpetrators isnt it important that we move to pressure judges to sentence violent folk to programs that resolve the violence that lurks uncontrolled within them rather than demanding that violent women get sent to the same violence fostering institutions that men do?
