I mean I think the first is closer to the truth. AWALT is still an idiotic platitude; only a sith deals in absolutes mate. Most WALT, maybe. Men definitely have common traits as well.

Are you US based? I see individual tall bulky dudes all the time, though it could correlated with being in an affluent area. I think the advice works so well because any exercise should have a positive impact in all areas of your life, so why not work on the aesthetic one? You're right though, I've seen plenty of attractive woman with out of shape men. I'd still recommend it as a starting step though.

Really appreciate your perspective, sounds like a lot of steps similar to my own. Though I've never been in an LTR, I looked for advice because I felt (and still do in some regards) unwanted by society. I followed RP advice pretty hard, ignoring the toxic mindsets, but sort of caught myself developing those mindsets once I started having success. I hope the no responses here are honest. I think a lot of people aren't that aware of their own attraction though.
