This is way bigger a part of it; the feedback loop is everything. It's not a one-and-done or common occurrence, it's the regularity through which strangers treat you politely etc.
Correct it's almost like reality tells us what's reality when we observe it raw and don't filter it through social programming, while pretending that's not what we're doing, etc.
