In general, the guys that are confident enough to approach you (out of the blue) are not the type that you're looking for. 1) Find them naturally/organically OR 2) Go out and be proactive and hit on them

Girls are not perfect either. They often throw out mixed signals unintentionally. Don’t read too much into it. Just go out the date, keep it light and fun, and reassess based on how it went

Yes - that’s pretty good. Two suggestions/considerations: 1-“hey want to grab lunch after class? The Thai place a block over has been on my bucket list all semester.” (Or, “I heard they actually make a killer chicken sandwich in the cafeteria”). With only a little bit more effort, you can make lunch feel EXCITING 2-I don’t think you need the “I’d like to get to know you better”. Saying that puts pressure on both you and her that this is a formal date. After a few 1-2 lunches it will be obvious t…

Dont "ask her out". Just find a fun/interesting event that is happening and suggest that she joins you in going there. Dont make it awkward with some big "will you be my girlfriend" confrontation. Just start doing fun things together. And do it immediately

Also, it’s a actually probably hurting you (being too nice on a first date) I’m sure you’re actually just a really sweet person, but in a way you need to hold that back a little bit. It’s cliche, but to a small degree you have to be a little “cool”. Act (a little bit) like you don’t care if they like you (because you u e a wonderful great life even without them). Keep your head up. Your coming into your 20’s where guys will be throwing themselves at you left and right. I’m a way, dating will nat…

Feel appreciated? Respectfully, you shouldn’t “appreciate” anyone until they’ve done something to deserve it. And if it’s a first date they’ve done nothing to deserve anything yet. Perhaps just sit back and relax a little bit. After you’ve gone on 3 to 5 days with someone then you can start bringing them gifts

1) you’re 20. For the next 15 years you will have a tidal wave of men hitting on you. You have no idea what’s coming. 2) Just dress normal, act normal, and treat guys like anyone else: ask them about them, and their interests 3) as everyone said, you can flirt by causally touching the guys arm or hand. Eye contact is your other tool/option If you like a guy, find something that you guys have in common and suggest that you both go do that thing together (a really cool ice cream shop nearby that h…

As you see from the comments: 1) that will be a deal breaker for some girls but not all 2) your vulgar language will also be a deal breaker for some girls (but not all) Some girls will love you just as you are, but you can increase your odds by making improvements in #1&2 above.

Force yourself to relax your standards a little to get more experience/comfort in all phases of a relationship

I think you have to go for it - doesnt need to be a big deal. Find a tea shop nearby, then next time youre drinking team with her, tell her about the shop, and ask if she wants to join you next weekend.

1) Get drinks (dont go overboard) 2) Genuinely have a good time - laugh, joke, tease him 3) Suggest that you go back to your dorm - dont make a big deal out of it. Just say "hey you ready to get out of here" 4) Be a little aggressive and kiss him (at your dorm) 5) The rest happens naturally

Forget the phrase "cold approach" - it sounds intimidating! Just start talking to everybody you see when an opportunity presents itself. See a 70year old with a nice sweater, "tell them - hey great sweater - love the pattern!" When you're in line somewhere and its taking forever - comment to the person ahead of you or behind you, "man at this rate, ill be ordering dinner instead of lunch!". Basically, start being outgoing. Eventually when you see a girl you want to talk to, it will be easier (di…
