I fully agree but there is one element to consider... Based on the initial interaction she could have concluded that he is an orbirtor in the first place. People can say a perfect line but it has to be congruent with the man. I guess that's an issue for inner game

Its easy to be an ass... But being an ass doesn't make you confident or alpha. If a girl shows resistance never under estimate good humor it shows that you don't take her too seriously and life is great either way

I think you can see the the desperation based on your messages, you sound phased and assholey. I can tell you are trying to be confident, but you need to add in some humor to the mix, you can't take it so seriously. I would have added something like " oh wow, i totally forgot all about my massage appointment as well.. its cool, i can ditch but i want a shoulder rub."
