There's more here. It's true that it's very varied, and I can understand that you'd think it has 'nothing to do with feminism', but that's typical of post-Second Wave feminist theory - it has become very interdisciplinary, with feminist scholars trying to provide new perspectives to all kinds of academic areas. At the same time, feminist academics are also very skeptical and critical of the movement itself.

I really disagree. The kind of LTRs that TRP discusses don't sound like winning outcomes to me. Well.. I don't know about supplicating, but being nice has been a pretty good 'strategy' for me so far, even though I don't see it as such. I don't go grovelling or putting women on pedestals and I have never really had any trouble finding a girl to date or hook up with. Nor have any of them cheated on me, manipulated me or taken money for me. Maybe I've just been lucky so far, but I think my experiences are a hell of a lot more common than all you RP folks seem to think.
