Biology, medicine, and medically allied subjects are listed separately. Biology isn't really stem in the sense its typically meant. Biology is by far the softest of the natural sciences, and might include things like ecology where you're counting animals. Some types of biology are very 'hard', like molecular biology or biochemistry or bioinformatics, and these areas still tend to be male dominated.

I can disprove some of your 'facts', and some are indeed facts. For example, IQ scores are certainly not the best predictor of success in western societies. That would be the socioeconomic status of your parents. Your link to that 'fact' is broken anyway. We also know environmental factors like poverty exert a downward pressure on IQ. I'm not talking about custody, I'm talking about the social idea of mother as default primary care giver. Some women want to work, some men want to raise kids - I doubt there is a feminist around that would disagree with that. This is a stupid thing to get all worked up about - the petty 'outrage' and constant victimhood of some feminism is primarily what turns me off of them. I could not disagree with this article more. Traditions and rituals - doing things because and only because your parents, grandparents, etc did them, is fundamentally misguided. Some traditions ceremonialize something that is biologically or physically important, and in so far as they are pragmatic, they are useful. Otherwise, they're just anachronistic, tribalistic pageants that a thoughtful person should have grown out of.

I have no idea what you are saying with this comment. The criticism of Gould is that he wrongfully accused (along with many others) a 19th century phrenologist of confirmation bias, and then didn't retract said argument from a 1996 version of his book. Does this invalidate his entire body of work?

I'm not saying some groups don't underperform on IQ tests - I'm saying its a socioeconomic issue instead of a genetic one. Blacks score lower on IQ tests because they are more likely to come from low income households, not because they are stupider in principle.

CDC 2010 12 month data - 40% of rapists were women during that time. I read this report. Nowhere does it say anything like this. The report states that 1 in 5 US women and 1 in 71 US men have reported being raped at least once in their lives. Of that much smaller amount of men, nearly all were raped by other men (ie in prison).
