When I think of "settling" I think of it less of the person not being "good enough" and more the "settling individual" not bein happy with the relationship for whatever reason. If you aren't happy with your relationship it's not worth being in, not particularly any fault of the other individual.

I see normal women with normal men all the time. And as a women the way I looked at dating was if it happened fine if not fine. I knew I'd be ok either way and I feel that's a perfectly reasonable way to look at it. Why would I stress myself out over something I only have half the control over when I can also focus on different things. I also had little interest in anyone I was talking to (I used online), man or women, (I'm demisexual) until I started to talk more and meet irl with the guy I'm w…

What a weak mindset lmao. "I can't spread my negativity and hatefulness without him calling it out so I'll block him! >:)" can't take an opposing view on a debate reddit it's so sad.

He could have but obviously whatever he tried didn't work, since he's still miserable over something completely out of his control and doesn't even involve him.

It's not a quick fix. Working on yourself requires you to make new habits as deep sometimes as to "re-wire" your brain in to more neutral/positive thinking habits. It's a continuous work in progress, to push yourself. Focusing on yourself for yourself isn't something you try for a few days and see progress. Self love is hard to achieve, but something everyone should have regardless of what they feel everyone else thinks or does.
/r/AllPillDebate02/11/23 09:57 PM

No it's not. That's such a dramatic way of thinking of self improvement. It's becoming a better version of yourself. One where you don't feel the need to hide away from outside, starve yourself, focus all your time on feeding negative thoughts, resentment, and jealousy. Why focus on all that when you can explore things to try and find stuff to make you happy? You only have one life why waste it on crying about you looks and what you believe others do. You can't control other people, but you can …

I find it highly relevant. He can't live his day to day life normally, because other people living theirs upsets him so much. He needs to focus on himself instead of them. Would you rather him continue quitting things that could benefit him/make him succeed/or happy all because two people kissed? How about refusing to eat more than once a day because he saw two people holding hands? They aren't doing anything wrong, so he's gonna have to either work on himself and learn to deal with it or contin…

You not liking someone doesn't mean they are below you. I'm not saying still go ahead and date them, but you are not better than them. Nothing fairytale about it.
/r/AllPillDebate02/11/23 09:38 PM
-3

What's wrong with focusing on yourself. Ourselves is the one for sure constant person we have. Others can come and go, but we're stuck with ourselves until we die. Shouldn't we work towards making ourselves someone we can be proud of and happy with? Why is self improvement such a controversial statement with you guys. It's important for everyone, no one's perfect and we can always be better.
/r/AllPillDebate02/11/23 06:29 PM
0

Then what's wrong with trying to work on yourself to change that? If you're not happy do what you can to work towards happiness or as close to it as you can. You're fighting yourself in this scenario, no one's against you. They're living their lives why should that stop you from trying your best and loving yours?
/r/AllPillDebate02/11/23 06:27 PM
2

Everyone's dealing with their own issues, so while I agree you don't need to be perfect, as there's no such thing, to go after a relationship. I'll disagree that there's not a possibility she's working to improve herself either.
/r/AllPillDebate02/11/23 05:04 PM

? Idc if you have sex or not as long as it consensual why would I? All I said is work on being better for yourself.
/r/AllPillDebate02/11/23 05:02 PM

Maybe you should focus more on yourself rather than everybody else. Your letting random people control your life by doing things that are perfectly legal and don't involve you and then semi blaming them for just living their lives. The world doesn't revolve around you, you're gonna have to live with it or remain making your own life miserable, because people are living theirs.

Not being interested in someone isn't automatically putting people below themselves. It's ok to not be attracted to someone, but that doesn't mean they're below you. That way of thinking is cringe lmao fr out here acting like high schoolers ☠️

You talk it out like adults and move on? Assuming no one did anything drastic or the argument isnt monumental it shouldn't be a problem in the long run. Just a bump on the road. One disagreement doesn't necessarily change an entire personality or pov of a person. If I don't like being around someone their looks aren't enough to keep me around. I have to enjoy spending time with the person on an emotional and personal level, if I'm not then what's the point. If I like you personally I'll do what …

Never said I was in fact I said no one is owed any of those things. That would include me lmao. Way to literally just repeat what I said and keep bringing up something I already said isn't owed to anyone (money, unless its child support to go to the single parent man or women) as a 'sick burn' you're really showing me by not bringing up any new or even good points or anything original ☠️

No one is entitled to any of that though. Saying you entitled to companionship is also saying someone should have to give you companionship. If it affects how another person is living they aren't rights. You have no dictatorship over what others do. No one is doing you wrong by not wanting to enter a relationship with you. They aren't bad people for not wanting to enter a relationship with you. And you were never entitled to their time to begin with. It's no one's responsibility to make sure tha…

I never said anyone was entitled to either of those. In fact I said no one's entitled to kindness. And I feel it should be common sense no one's entitled to a relationship.
/r/AllPillDebate30/10/23 10:36 PM

Your not entitled to any of those things, even in a relationship. You do that because you love each other. You don't own the person you're with lmao and they don't owe you anything and vice versa. And like the other comment said they stay because they love each other. A relationship you're only in for sex sounds pointless and sad AF lmao.
/r/AllPillDebate30/10/23 10:34 PM

Being treated like you're cared about isn't the equivalent of you not getting laid. If In a relationship both people involved should be treated nicely by the other. Neither is entitled to sex, favors or even kindness from either one though. If the relationship doesn't work out then the unhappy one should end it and find someone that does make them happy. It's not rocket science. Nice try, but doesn't make sense.

It's similar to Nice guy/nice girls, neck beards/leg beards, etc etc you can pick and choose all you want but it's a 100% a state of mind. Not all men are incels, I don't even view all virgin men as incels, but a man using hateful and sexist rhetoric I would say is an incel. It's not about being a virgin to others anymore. All any outsider sees from this group is hate, and what you give is gonna be what you get.

They did agree though! My tubes are getting removed so I don't even have to worry about an abortion! It's great! On the other hand you're right, my plan was to see as many doctors as it took; I just got lucky.:) If I ever ended up pregnant abortion is the first thing I'd look in to if not that then the government could keep it since they obviously care so much about it. Either way why bring unwanted children into the world?

They are considered a simple and safe procedure. They numb you or put you to sleep. Any surgery is going to leave you sore and its elective. No one's forcing you to get it done if you don't want don't get it. My boyfriend and I are getting sterilized because that's what's best for us.

Ok but you're the only one bringing up scotus the fact is it is criminalized depending on where you are and it's ok to want what's best for you when it literally doesn't affect anyone who isn't involved.
/r/AllPillDebate25/10/23 03:10 PM

That's how I feel too! More or less finding a doctor in the first place. A lot of women are denied for not having children, enough children, and or being too young.

/r/AllPillDebate25/10/23 02:05 PM

The fetus isn't even a baby when it's aborted, it's not sentient or alive on its own. The only thing the court has against abortion is biblica and moral outrage. Religion should stay out of the government and people should mind they're business. It's simple.
/r/AllPillDebate25/10/23 02:04 PM

Which in turn led to some of them outlawing it aka criminalized. It doesn't matter if they can go to a different state it's still illegal there and shouldn't be. You keep trying though.

Except you can die from lack of shelter and food. Nice try though but it's completely possible to live without sex or romance. Its ok to be upset about it every now and then, but if the only way you think you can be happy is to be with someone it's be toxic af to force someone into that.
/r/AllPillDebate25/10/23 11:44 AM
0

If your not unhappy with yourself this doesn't apply to you. This whole post was about people who are so desperate they're convinced the only way to be happy is to be with someone and that's unhealthy.
/r/AllPillDebate25/10/23 11:42 AM

Again, if even you can't find happiness in yourself, how do you expect anyone else to?
/r/AllPillDebate25/10/23 11:40 AM

Where did I say that this applies to only incels? There are plenty of people who've been in or are currently in relationships that shouldn't be.
/r/AllPillDebate25/10/23 01:04 AM

No my statement can go for friends too. Your happiness is your responsibility, no one else's.
/r/AllPillDebate24/10/23 10:35 PM
-5

For someone with a username like yours you sure like to pick and choose and deny. It's not my opinion it is fact if you hold someone else accountable for your happiness in whole it's manipulative and co dependent. As for your next thing read the last sentence of what you quoted. A relationship is 50/50 holding someone responsible for being 100% responsible for your happiness is again toxic and unhealthy. No one is responsible for your happiness except you.
/r/AllPillDebate24/10/23 09:56 PM
-5

Someone shouldn't fear that if they left you there'd be an issue. They shouldn't be guilt tripped into staying with you or too scared to leave nor is your happiness anyone's responsibility except your own, to put that on somebody else's shoulders is gross and manipulative.
/r/AllPillDebate24/10/23 09:41 PM
-14

You're wasting your time, unfortunately. I mentioned therapy and psychiatrists on a post about men committing suicide and got nothing but replies about how's its a scam or how it only works for women. They're against any form of self love, self care, or self help that's not damaging and toxic. You can't help someone who doesn't want to help themselves.

It's not a scam you just have to find the right team. I've recently been through 3 or 4 therapist didn't click with any of them. I did however click with a life coach and they helped me tremendously. Also depending on your insurance it might be covered. My work insurance covers it for me.

Your entire view of self worth shouldn't be dependent on your appearance or relationship status is my point its not healthy. Think if you saw a random "ugly" person or met someone else who was single. Would your entire view of them revolve around that, would you obsess over their appearance. Most people don't care what others are doing with their lives, why should you treat yourself so harshly when I'm assuming your not doing the same to others. And the fact that you base your entire existence on how you look and fixate in that is exactly why you need therapy and psychiatric help. You entire self worth shouldn't be based on your outward appearance, even if you were beautiful that's not healthy.
/r/AllPillDebate11/10/23 05:01 PM

Do you guys no what a stigma is? That would be part of it. A lot of people need to be involved for it to be a social stigma.
/r/AllPillDebate11/10/23 04:59 PM
-2

Never heard of the third being used for mental health. And the other two are part of the stigma I literally mentioned and if the third actually happens then so is it. Also there's help for men too, therapy and psychiatrists (as long as you actually listen to them and try) are your best bet for getting started. Sometimes it just takes time and effort to find the right team of professionals for you.
/r/AllPillDebate11/10/23 02:50 PM

Possibly the women attempt it more thing idk, but also men are less likely to reach out for help as well and attempt to care for their mental health. There's a stigma around mental health and there's a stigma around the need for men to look strong and not accept or ask for help both are issues neither are excuses to be dicks to others.

Idk what any of that has to do with what I said though? Idc if you want a virgin as long as you're not creepy about it, like those guys going after way younger girls/children. Which you're not doing. I'm also not saying you should change your standards. However, it's going to be hard to find that and even more so when you consider the fact that just finding one isn't enough. You aren't shopping she's going to have feeling on the the subject as well and may or may not be interested. By all mean s…

While there's nothing wrong with being a virgins (i was one up to mid twenty myself, so no hate for that), you also gotta think realistically; you may not find another 30 year old virgin and even if you did there's no telling if you guys would be compatible and get in a relationship. The possibility of getting with a virgin decreases with age.

It's not hard to find incels as I described at all. I see plenty of em right here on this subreddit plus they have their own forms that also act this way. There's so much that on the internet "incels" has pretty much changed from its literal definition to basically describe bitter misogynistic men. No one thinks "Virginia man" when they see incel. They think misogynistic, extremists, and hateful men. People have seen so much hate from this group the definition is literally changing.

A lot of post from incels are in fact hateful and push the blame onto others most of which they've never met or jnteracted with. No, you experiencing bullying isn't reason enough for this. It's unfortunate, but a lot of people are bullied especially in school, not just "ugly men". I'm not having kids, simply because I don't want them, so who am I to tell other women they need to have more kids. They should be with who they want, and only have kids if they want them. Not really as someone else stated it could have a different meaning than you're interpretation. Not married, but ultimately don't care if I get married or not as long as I'm with someone I love. I 100% can't imagine living and interacting with someone I don't care for, rather be alone, as I'm perfectly capable of doing so. I don't think people go into a relationship with the goal of being abused. And often times there's a lot going into it to get them to stay. It can effect you mentally, emotionally, and physically. We can agree that the person being abused shouldn't be in that relationship, but in no way do I think them being abused is their fault; nobody deserves abuse. /r/AllPillDebate20/09/23 10:44 PM

Lmao you really felt a little gotch moment didn't ya. I didn't say anything about men or women specifically ANYBODY that is helping ANYBODY with the sole goal of sex isn't actually helping they're more so investing, which still may not have the outcome they desired. NOONE, men and women included, should feel pressured into having sex that they don't want in any circumstance, including being pressured into it because someone "helped" them. Nice try you really tried.
/r/AllPillDebate20/09/23 08:54 PM

Nice try taking things literal as can be 💀 If you are trying to help someone with the goal to get your dick wet just don't. Nowhere did I imply anyone was after me personally other than possibly (if you really wanna reach) a response to someone's hypothetical response of not helping me. You can Google that word if you ik its pretty big for ya.
/r/AllPillDebate20/09/23 07:42 PM

Lmao that's a lot of reaching you're doing there, bud. And yes if your actually "helping" you're doing so without expectations, if you're helping with expectations then it's more of an investment. If you only help people to get something out of them, especially something like you guys are wanting, don't help. Save us all time and energy and just don't. Lol
/r/AllPillDebate20/09/23 05:33 PM

No lmao I'd rather they pretend they didn't see 💀 I don't want some random person touching me even if it's to help me up or touching any of my groceries. Usually, codependency becomes a cycle in which the caretaker continues to give, the taker continues to take advantage, and the relationship becomes unbalanced and dysfunctional. -Health line This quote is followed by steps on how to tell if you're the "care giver" in a codependent relationship, how to tell if you're the "taker", how it effects people, how to try to fix it, and even how to safely leave. I don't because it's being used to justify trying to use someone as an emotional crutch. If the reason that you're wanting to be in a relationship is so that you'll be happy, you aren't ready to be in a relationship. Your significant other should be a "want" not a "need". You're trying to use them as an emotional bandaid. They're you significant other, not your therapist. You being happy shouldn't be dependent on a singular person. Sounds toxic and dependant af.

I feel there is a stigma, but again I feel it's all based off their social circle and such. Your more likely to have friends and family who are willing to help rather than expecting random strangers to help. So if you have a decent sized social circle with good relationships in it as well as being willing to both accept and ask for help you'll be more likely to get said help.

It depends on the social circle each have aw an individual. Ik a guy super social and knows a lot of people who would likely be able to get help relatively easily. Someone who doesn't know many people and keeps to themselves is unlikely to have this. There's also a stigma of some sort around men accepting help, so it also depends rather or not they're willing to ask for or accept help in the first place. Ultimately it depends on their social circle.

There are simps for women lmao. I simped for fictional characters in the past and definitely simp for my boyfriend lmao. Like I can give you a list 💀

Again, its literally science at this point so either stay in denial or don't. How you feel about it doesn't change anything lmao It's funny though because while you're here complaining about people making their problems other people's problems everyone here is trying to make the fact they can't get laid everyone else's problem. As long as your not being a dick it's whatever, but I stand by the fact someone making it a point to discuss there is only two genders according to them would be a major …

You're not gonna like it but maybe see if you can get a psychiatrist. My medicine did me wonders with my depression and anxiety. Also I got a free life coach through Vida with my work and she was amazing too! The difference between a life coach and a therapist is that therapists help unravel past trauma and a life coach is more focused on taking steps to get to a specific goal you have in life. It might take time to find the right one I've been having trouble finding a therapist that's right for…

Ofc you would think that lmao and it is for healthy relationships 💀mutual respect/kindness is a baseline for a relationship. It won't get you one, because again it's the bare minimum, but it is the baseline for getting and maintaining healthy relationships lmao And I'm sure you're very knowledgeable on what turns women on. Like basically a professional. 💀

There could be a lot of reasons lol. Dumb mistakes They're simply better at masking it than you guys. They could have charisma and/or charm of some sort. Some girls like the whole fixer upper/ride or die situation, but that doesn't mean it's a healthy or safe choice. They're possibly more social I never said it was the only thing just that it was a baseline And women still aren't a baseline it should be common sense, especially for an adult, that if you want to be a healthy and positive influenc…

Domestic violence cases dont prove anything lol. How many of those guys do you thinks see themselves in a positive light. It's something that unfortunately happens, but people put up facades get mentally and emotionally attached and it turns into a whole ordeal. I don't follow any "pill" because I'm reasonable enough to realize and admit that life isn't black and white. Also if you're actually nice you shouldn't have to remind others that you're nice and use it solely as a base line as why people should date you. And I'm doing just fine, thanks, it's my Friday and my boyfriend is moving in this weekend, so I'm pretty excited. Hope you feel better eventually!

The fact he's complaining about how he should get someone he deems of equal attractiveness as him and he's unable to and how this upsets him and he feels lied to or something sounds highly entitled. lol If someone was turned down for the job and they went online bashing the company sold because he should have gotten the job that'd be entitled. If someone lost a fight and went somewhere talking about how it was unfair that he lost because everyone told him he'd win it'd sound kinda entitled; if n…

That's why I mentioned studies on women and men too. Like one commenter posted on the last thread about this topic about most women needing clitoral stimulation to to orgasam, rather then a huuuge dildo or dick. And there are likely many other studies you don't agree with that say something about women or men that you would just dismiss. The black pill is vocal solely on the internet and most people seemingly can tell its just angry people, I don't really see the need for a debunk, honestly.
/r/AllPillDebate09/09/23 02:28 PM

1 I was never trying to debunk the studies themselves, mostly because I don't want torrad them, as i already said.💀And 2 I already put my view of the blackpill up, you live inside your head, it's an unhealthy cope, you accept misery as a default and don't care to change it, you can't help someone who seemingly enjoys both the negative attention and the reinforcement they get from wallowing in self pity.

I literally said I was only talking about how it's reasonable to not believe them 💀Idc enough to read them I'm not invested in your struggles that are literally abased on your on insecurities here for laughs and wtfs lol

This is like the 2nd or 3rd post on the exact same topic today and I posted links talking about how a lot of theories are proven wrong and etc should I have just posted the exact same comment? And I'll be honest I dont waste my time reading the studies and I don't plan to so idk what they even talk about, however I'm purely talking about how studies aren't 100% right and it's perfectly reasonable for someone not to believe them. Like you really think you're doing something rn don't you?

I've literally seen people that claim that if they had a girlfriend or sex they'd be happier. And it's relevant as far as I'm concerned I was explaining my view of the black pill. Like I said anything that doesn't go with your guys view is quickly dismissed and you get mad or critical when people don't jump to believe your studies.
/r/AllPillDebate09/09/23 01:31 AM

I never said it was all your guys fault but what's the point in wallowing in your own self pity when you can actively try and find things that make you happy or at least happier. The world sucks, your not the only one who thinks so, but why not at least try to make the best of it. Imo if you can't be happy on your own you shouldn't be in a relationship in the first place. Like I said they'd be a bandaid, an emotional crutch, it's not fair or safe to put your happiness entirely on what someone el…

Considering I highly doubt you'd say this about any possible studies disproving the "black pill" or saying something about women or men that you disagree with it's perfectly reasonable to not take the black pill studies or the "movement" seriously. The fact that there are multiple studies on it mean nothing to me seeing how biased and selective the lot of you are. Plus from what I can tell the black pill is highly based on selfishness, deflection, excuses, wallowing in self hate and accepting it…

I think that sub would be a bad idea to post on for a lot of people especially if they're dealing with mental problems or low self esteem in the first place. If they get harsh or mean comments it could send em in a spiral of more self hate and if they get nice responses, depending on how bad they are mentally-wise, they are likely to not believe them and assume they're not telling the truth like a lot of people on this sub most likely would. Not to mention like I've seen people mention before lo…

The second isn't being hateful or anything though? She literally just said she's not attracted to the men who are attracted to her, so she plans on working on herself in hopes of finding someone she is attracted to. She's not being mean about it, she's not talking about or actively harassing anyone, nor is she saying she deserves that or getting upset over not getting it. She literally just has a type and is wanting to go after said type.

Ofc it's not exclusive to what you'd consider a Stacy? She basically said she wouldnt settle for someone unless they love her and show her they love her. Which she shouldn't feel like she has to settle for any less. Everything she asked for is pretty simple, the hardest thing might be the paying for stuff, but even that isn't that extreme and she never said he had to buy literally everything for her. I agree! What's the point in being in a relationship if you don't feel loved and appreciated. I'm so thankful for my boyfriend; he's the absolute best and I wouldn't wanna be with anyone else. Little gifts that shows he was thinking about me, romantic gestures like holding my hand in the car, we hype each other up and vent to each other, we talk non stop, we do take turns paying for stuff he assured me he doesn't mind paying but I'd feel bad and I like helping lol
