Psilocybin mushroom therapy shows promise, as well as with MDMA!!!! I had the same experience with therapy. You’re basically paying to discuss your problems out loud and re-traumatize yourself. I’ve been going to AA/NA meetings as well on and off for 16 years and I think that it actually makes my addiction worse. But a lot of people must be going into debt for these degree programs to exist. Our society in the US uses student loans to prop up these useless degrees like gender studies etc. If each person who got a student loan had to make a proposal to the bank like you do for a small business loan, then things would be very different.

Reflecting on what I wrote, it was probably because I mentioned getting a "better" job after working in a kitchen. What I actually meant was a less physically demanding job. I have back problems, and have since my 20's, so a less physically demanding job is better for me. There is no such thing as “reality” television. It’s all heavily produced with those on camera being placed into situations and given direction. I know people that work on that show. It might as well be scripted. It would be if the producers had any confidence that these people could remember their lines. There is very little that is spontaneous about it. The budget for a show like that is massive, and especially for network shows there is very little (if anything) that is left up to chance.

Well since I’m a straight guy I guess I’ll never have to worry about that... and yeah I don’t buy fur or leather or down either. The only exception I would make is if I was given or found a vintage leather jacket, I wouldn’t see a problem with that if it’s like 30 years old. That makes sense. If men wore makeup they would look dramatically different. I have friends who are musicians that wear makeup day to day and it makes them look a lot “prettier” and a lot younger at the same time. I did this. No beer for 6 months, no liquor for 2 or so months, and just after kicking beer and really not doing much I lost 50 pounds. The last 10-20 pounds came off through minimizing my food portions and hitting the gym. I just really listened to what my body wanted, and I gave it what it needed and not more. I think being vegan helped me lose weight as well.

I got my medical card recently in Michigan and it’s a game changer. I no longer have to play guessing games with that substance. It’s like the difference between taking an adderall pill from the pharmacy that your doctor gave you versus buying a crack rock from a homeless person at a gas station.
