| 1 | How much was your divorce? Did it go to trial?65k. No kids. 9 months from date of filing petition to judge signing the decree. It did go to trial. Ex Wife did not want to settle, and she actually got less in our trial ruling than I would have offered her in mediation. She walked out of our mediation after my first offer. Every dollar spent was worth it, only thing I lost was my 8.5 year old dog I got prior to us getting married. I’m on month 2 with my new lab puppy. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/12/24 07:29 AM |
| 3 | 6 months.I’m two months post finalized divorce, almost 12 months since discovering the affair. I promise you, it gets better. Know that you are not with someone who values you so little that they want to carry on the life with you while also telling someone else the same things. Lawyer up, and play hard ball. Do not go easy, the marriage and relationship is gone. It is now a business transaction and you need to take care of only your needs and your kids if you have any. I promise it gets better each day.… | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/12/24 07:05 AM |

| 2 | I found out on Christmas day that my wife slept with someone and never told me about it. The text message that he sent gave it all away. For your sanity, break it off, see a therapist/ counselor and take care of your son. There is no relationship without trust. We as people deserve better than the mental roller coaster. | /r/Divorce_Men | 31/12/23 02:22 PM |
