May I offer some different advice? I suffer from maladaptive daydreaming (addiction to fantasies in my mind). I think it's similar to video games or porn addiction. (I think that's part of the reason why I follow this sub, because at the end of the day, this cult is basically a fantasy sold for clicks and cheap dopamine hits). Part of my recovery is about letting go of the images/fantasies that I'm attached to. I also have story lines and whole "worlds" that I go to escape the world and disassoc…

My advice here would be to look into trauma bonding and how abuse impacts the human brain. You know you need to leave, but may not understand what makes it difficult to leave. I'm sending you a hug, stay strong!

I distrust her because I remember when she blew up out of nowhere. There was a week when I noticed all her youtube shorts were popping up left right and centre (with very few views). Sure, my algorithm may have been suggesting them to me due to my interest in decoding the manosphere (I'm a woman and have never subscribed to redpill, but it interests me as a modern phenomen). That said, I reckon she had backing or funding and probably paid for her channel and videos to be boosted. The level to wh…

As you're in the UK, this prolonged behaviour would be considered abuse and coercive control. Speak to Women's Aid and any local domestic abuse charity. You'll also be entitled to benefits. Get support around you and slowly prepare to leave.

I understand that, I hate rage bait too. The reason I thought people here would find it interesting, particularly men, is because of the response that the rage bait received. Most of the women are bashing the poster for what she (or a fake she) said about both men and women. Why I think this is interesting is it shows what average women in the UK really think. This could be helpful for people exiting the red pill. Because the poster talks about some redpill points (ie only swiping on men over 6 …

I think the red pill tactics work because they utilise anxious/chaotic attachment. So the opposite to that would be fostering a secure attachment with each other. I am aware that there is an ongoing debate about attachment theory, however in my opinion, there is a lot to be learnt from it. r/attachment_theory is a place to start. I also recommend guiding her towards trauma recovery resources, specifically for abusive relationships. www.freedomprogramme.co.uk has online content and a book you can…

Bit late to the party, but I'd recommend rock climbing (indoor climbing to start). As a woman I've met two past partners through that sport. It's a great sport in general as it teaches problem solving, body strength, communication etc. It also has a great social life/vibe attached to it. I'd particularly recommend bouldering because you can turn up to a bouldering center on your own and don't need a climbing partner or knowledge about belaying/ropes. It's a great way to meet people because climb…

My brain honestly doesn't work like this... you've mentioned different measurements and my brain can't visualize it, if that makes sense? I can't remember the 'size' of any of my past sexual encounters. Other than one guy who was a lot bigger than what I assume to be average (fyi we didn't have penetrative sex...his size intimidated me and I was like "nope, that's not going inside me"). It's the same with heights. I suppose I could probably guess if someone is over 6 foot. That's about it. My mi…

I think this is a great idea! I'm from Europe (UK) and it's been interesting learning about TRP etc because a lot of the social/political 'flavours' of RP (for want of a better word) don't apply to places outside the US. For example, the dichotomy between left and right wing politics. It seems soooo much more of an identity in the US, whereas in the UK people don't mould themselves to the politics quite so extensively. Similarly, this weird obsession with height and money. Go to Italy or Spain a…

Posts like these are the reason I keep coming back to this sub....it gives gives me hope. I originally came to this sub because I (f) became increasingly scared about the rise of people like Andrew Tate. Not just scared emotionally/psychologically, but actually physically scared of effects what his popularity will have on young men and how they interact with girls/women. I wanted to understand how and why this is happening. Listening to posters here brings a nuanced view and understanding. By th…

It would depend on the situation. If it was just randomly thrown out there, with no backstory, then I would definitely call her up on it. The sad thing is, the only times I've heard women talk along those lines is following a traumatic experience like rape, sexual assault, harassment, domestic abuse. Those situations are difficult because I know in my heart that the anger is just about one man, but the victim - rightly or wrongly- is working through the anger stage. Anger is a vital stage of the…

Could you give some examples? What to you would be a misandrist comment? What aspects of a woman/how she behaves/how she speaks would make her misandric in your eyes?

I'm similar (not unattractive per se, but shy and probably slightly on the spectrum). I've had long stints without a boyfriend or sex - not dated or had sex since the autumn 2019, for example. It frustrates me sometimes, mainly the lack of connection rather than sex. To be fair there were other periods of time (2-3 years) when I didn't want sex or a relationship but that was due to needing to heal from sexual trauma. I know it must be frustrating op, but the whole 'women can get men anytime' rea…

This was so interesting to read. I came to this sub because the rise of Andrew Tate etc scared me. And I wanted to research/try to understand how this has all happened. Thanks for your honesty and reflection. You sound like you're on the road to a wholesome life filled with wholesome, human relationships.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
